It is my passion to teach & help people catch fish and teach them about the beautiful waters that Martin County has to offer! In 1981, my parents moved me Stuart, FL where I grew up on the St. I have been swimming & playing in the river ever since. I can remember wishing I could play in the river every single day. Since 2009, I have been offering guided, river fishing tours, charters, excursions,

& adventures for up to 6 passengers in our local river systems which include the entire St. Lucie River, the southern Indian River Lagoon, & the St. Lucie Inlet Area near the Atlantic Ocean out of Stuart, Florida. We depart on one of my 18' Dolphin, Back County, Flats Boats. You are sure to catch fish with me no matter your skill level, I guarantee it! Last Mondays cold snap. We set out early in the cold. Was windy, but we managed some keeper Mangrove Snapper a bunch of other stuff like Jack, Ladyfish, Margates, Lost some big fish on some seawalls with live mullet taking us into the docks thwarting our drag systems on our 8000 Shimano Bait runners. We had a great time but only one picture of this Sheepshead we got hiding from the North Wind. We got lots of fish. Last nights fishing report. We set out from Shepard Park in Stuart and headed out to Sewall's Point area with our fly rods only. We ended up with one keeper Snook at the out going along with plus or minus ten others in the 25-27'' range. Lost a few flies to a big one that got away around a piling plus some bluefish would not return some of the flies. We ended up with another half dozen of those, plus some jacks and ladyfish. Almost all were caught on homemade flies. Did a six hour charter from 6 PM to Midnight. Saw the Space X launch, shooting stars, manatees, dolphin, a great sunset and had a great adventure dodging the wind and rain as well. Moon was up, we fished the end of the incoming a beginning of the outgoing. Got fish on both tides. Fishing Report March 2nd. We got Sheeps head, white and black Margates, Dog and Mangrove Snappers, Snook, Jack Cravalle, Bluefish, Ladyfish, Catfish, Water temp this week is back at 73.9 in the St. Lucie. The Snook have been eating at night. This last cold bought brought the water temps to 59 degrees. Saw a small fish kill when I traveled a bit North to Vero to look for redfish. Found lots of Ladyfish, Some Trout, Pompano, Snook, lady fish, and Tarpon alive but cold. Found dead snook, tarpon, Mohara's, Barracuda even Tilapia. Last night we slayed the Snook on Fly on both incoming and out going. It has been super nice out despite all the weather. Give me a shout if you are looking to get out. www.gofishstuart.com

Got to take home the first keeper of 2026. Hope it taste good. Only had a few bites tonight ,but the big one def. got away. Close to 29'' with this fellow. Outgoing tide, light NNE wind. Got some bluefish on Doa Shrimp along with some Jack Cravalle. Snook caught on first light tackle Snook jigs from Snooknook. Fished with Joe and Eli.

My buddy came down for a week and he got his first ever Snook on Fly, first Tarpon snook, Fat Snook, Speckled Sea Trout, Jack Cravalle and Ladyfish all on fly. We also casted at and too Tarpon of all sizes, Triple Tail, Redfish and Bone fish.

Took a quick trip to Everglades National Park and caught the heck out of trout, found some, snook, tarpon, redfish, ladyfish, Crocs, vipers, mosquitos, triple tail, sharks, plus, make it out alive and had a great time. Nothing like putting your boat in at the ramp and sharing it with crocs.
