Nothing to see here, just White Pocket doing its pocket thing.
👀
Did you know that 'pocket' is a ranching term? It refers to a small, often hidden or enclosed area of land — like a natural bowl or depression — that’s tucked away from the surrounding terrain.
🏜️
In the case of White Pocket, that name dates back to the area's cowboy days, when ranchers used this isolated pocket of slickrock as a water catchment for cattle. Today? It's better known for its mind-bending rock formations, surreal textures, and sunsets that feel like science fiction, though you can still see the imprint of cattle heading to find water.
💧
Still remote. Still wild. Still magic.
