Yes it is, but maybe not quite -- at least not here for us at Dreamland. We only run Milky Way workshops in the spring and in the fall (on account of temperatures and the timing of when the galactic core is visible), which means that we're still a month or two away from starting back up. ⁠

Not science fiction, but... would it surprise you if we told you that Planet of the Apes and John Carter were filmed in this area (yep, that's accurate). ⁠

Let's take a second to talk about water hiking. ⁠

This shot was taken in the Narrows, Zion's famous water hike -- but that's not the only spot where we wade for long periods at a time: backpacking the Paria Canyon or Coyote Gulch equally involves miles and miles of wading. ⁠
⁠
Did you know: hiking in water is no big deal, as long as you're prepared for it. Most importantly (and counterintuitively), you do NOT want to be using water shoes for a water hike! ⁠

This is Coyote Gulch, and if you don't have a big adventure planned for the fall yet... you should come backpack this place with us. 4 days (3 nights) on trail, just under thirty miles, and - as our guides like to say - an incredibly high reward-to-effort ratio. Soaring red rock cliffs, lush canyon bottom oases, waterfalls, swimming holes, and unforgettable moments... this is an adventure for the ages. ⁠
