I just had to share a very interesting experience with booking flights for our summer trip!
Since Spirit is gone, I had to get somewhat creative to get my ultra-low fares! I found out that Allegiant flies non-stop to Orlando from a city not too far from me.

Here’s how this went: Called Allegiant yesterday. Confirmed they would be open from 3-5pm today at the counter at my local airport. Drove there and parked in the garage and went to said counter. The nice lady advised me that, in fact, they do not sell tickets at the counter and their computers do not have that capability. For real? 🙃

Left empty handed but determined!

Called Allegiant customer service. Explained what happened. A really nice gentleman said that they definitely have the ability to sell tickets at the counter (minus the online fees). He was very apologetic and to my surprise offered to book my flights on the phone and waive the online fee!! So for $378 round trip total for 4- our family is headed to Disney and Universal in July! ❤️🥹
