One of the companies we work closely with is currently seeking local businesses and vendors who would be willing to donate their time, services, or an activity for Captains For Kids, a free community event taking place September 12th at the Reefhouse Resort & Marina.

Captains For Kids partners children with special needs and serious illnesses with professional captains, crews, and local businesses to provide unforgettable experiences on the water at no cost to their families. Activities include sailing excursions, dolphin cruises, pirate cruises, snorkeling adventures, and other family-friendly experiences. Most outings also have room for parents, and sometimes siblings, to join in.

If you know of any businesses or individuals who may be interested in donating an experience, volunteering, or getting involved, we’d love to connect with them. Every donated activity helps create lasting memories for families who deserve a day to simply relax, have fun, and enjoy time together.
