All new furnishings, a California king, two daybeds in the living area, and teak furniture out on the lanai. There is a book library, a movie library, board games, and charging docks where you actually need them.

Same ocean. Four different floors.

Ground floor, you step off the lanai onto the grass and you're on the sand in about a minute. That's the whole appeal.

Go up and you trade the shortcut for the horizon — by the sixth floor you can see the length of the bay and across to the other islands.

Swipe up the building and pick your height. Both are right; they're just different holidays.

Maui has a wet side and a dry side, and Kihei is on the right one.

Sitting leeward of Haleakala, South Maui gets a fraction of the rain that falls on Hana or Lahaina — while other parts of the island are catching an afternoon shower, this stretch of Kamaole II is usually still blue.

Good odds for a vacation you can actually plan around.

Every unit here is individually owned, so they all look different — but they all have a full kitchen, and a lanai to eat on when you're done.

Cook when you feel like it. Go out when you feel like it. That's the difference between a condo and a hotel room.

Unit 25 is upstairs in Low Rise B — a king bed, a queen sleeper sofa in the living area, one bath, and exterior sunscreens on a lanai that looks straight out at the water. Fully air conditioned.
