The beach at Hanalei is three blissful miles of white sand bending into a perfect horseshoe. In the summer the Bay becomes a giant mirror of calm water - fun for swimming, paddling, or just floating on your back & looking at rainbows and waterfalls. The act of walking along the Bay at sunrise or sunset is both romantic and soul-nourishing. Princeville with its world class golf courses, walking trails, restaurants & shopping is just 5 minutes up the hill from Hanalei and is known for its awesome views. It has some tiny, private little-known beaches as well as access to famous 'Anini Beach with the longest reef in the state.
