TL;DR - I may have a new favorite!
I'm going to be honest with you. I boarded Margaritaville at Sea with questions.
Was this going to be a floating party barge? Wall to wall Jimmy Buffett? An out of control scene I'd spend five days navigating around? It was none of that because truly that isn't the Parrothead vibe.
This cruise converted me. Completely. And I'd recommend it without reservation. Here's why.
It was easy.
Easy to navigate the ship (even for me who is always directionally challenged). Easy to find something to eat. Easy to find a pool chair. Easy to find things to do — or space to do absolutely nothing. Easy to just sit and enjoy the ambiance. Easy to find the never ending soft serve! Even the other passengers were easy. Nobody cutting in front of you at the buffet like the food is going to run out. Nobody rushing the elevator. Everyone was considerate. Relaxed. Happy to be there.
The casino was easy. The entire casino is NO SMOKING. If you've been on other ships you know you often have to walk through the casino to get somewhere, and you might walk out of your way to avoid it. Not here. I like to put a few dollars in the machines but usually dread what I'm walking into. Not on this ship.
And then there was the Hero Salute.
On every single sailing Margaritaville at Sea stops to honor our military and first responders. I was not prepared for how moving it was. It was beautifully done. And on top of that — these heroes can sail on Margaritaville at Sea for free. That detail alone tells you something about who this crui
You knows, there may be a Trippin' With Trida group cruise going so anyone who wants to check this out for themselves can do it with us!
Easy ship. Great crew. Clean. Fun. And a whole lot of heart.
