Nestled in the heart of the Outer Banks, Serendipity is a historic cottage that offers stunning ocean views and a unique blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. It fronts Beach Road, which basically means this is ocean front as there are no homes

to block your view. Simply cross Beach Road to one of the open access points over the sand dunes, and you'll be at the ocean! This cottage comes stocked with lots of books, board games, and puzzles. It also had more modern amenities such as 2 flatscreen cable TVs, DVD player (along with a nice collection of DVDs) and Internet/WIFI. If you want an old-fashioned beach house experience, getting back to basics, possibly take a little bit of a step back in time (we even have a cassette player with cassettes!) with absolutely incredible ocean views....then this is your place! Also, Serendipity recently received the prestigous "Guests Favorite" award on Airbnb, meaning that Serendipity is one of the most loved homes by Airbnb guests!

The biggest great white shark ever recorded in the Atlantic is making waves off the coast of North Carolina.

Nicknamed Contender, this 14-foot, 1,653-pound monster was tagged back in January near Florida. After going dark for weeks, his tracker pinged again as he surfaced near Pamlico Sound, likely loading up on food before making a 1,000+ mile trek north.

At 30 years old, Contender is providing vital research data as scientists study his migration to help protect shark habitats and better understand the species. You can even follow his movements live on OCEARCH’s shark tracker 🦈👀
