Sliding in to add 2 more ships to pools onboard DCL overview:

🚢 Disney Wish:
•Mickey’s Pool is the largest option for the pools and is located right in front of Funnel Vision.
•Minnie’s Pool is also located on Deck 11 with a good view of Funnel Vision from the second largest pool.
•Daisy’s Pool is also located on Deck 11 and is smaller than Mickey or Minnie’s Pool. Both Daisy’s Pool and Pluto’s Pool are also shallow.
•Pluto’s Pool and Daisy’s Pool are both the smaller pool options on Deck 11. (2ft Deep)
•Donald’s Pool and Goofy’s Pool are located on Deck 12 and are the two deepest pools (4ft deep)
•One of Disney Wish’s best-kept secrets is Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Pool up on Deck 14!
•Quiet Cove Pool on Deck 13, which is an adults-only infinity pool.

🚢 Disney Treasure:
•Mickey’s Pool - This family friendly pool is located on deck 11 and is the largest on deck, with plenty of fun, including fun activities and poolside movies on the jumbo LED display.
•Minnie’s Pool - This family friendly pool is the second largest located on deck 11 and has a great view of Funnel Vision.
•Daisy’s & Pluto’s Pool - These twin wading pools are located on deck 11, just above Minnie’s pool. These shallow pools are only 2 feet deep.
•Donald’s & Goofy’s Pool - On the highest tier of the pool deck, these twin pools are 4 feet deep located on deck 12. These are the deepest of the family pools.
•Trixie’s Falls - This family friendly 6 inch deep wading pool located on deck 12 is great for those looking to unwind and little ones can play in the central water fountain
•Chip & Dale’s Pool - This family friendly wading pool is located on deck 14, away from the rest of the pools. This pool is perfect for those looking to for a quiet place to unwind.
•Concierge Pools - This concierge exclusive wading pool offers a serene retreat with breathtaking views. Enjoy a full bar where you can sip cocktails at the private sundeck.
•Quiet Cove Pool - This adult exclusive pool offers a serene retreat, where adults can unwind. Enjoy varying depths of pool from plunge to shallow and sip cocktails as you sunbathe.

currently has Six ships and are adding Two more to the fleet setting sail later this year. But what’s the pool situation? How many does each ship have? Let’s dive in and find out what each ship has onboard. Starting with the first four ships.

🚢 Disney Magic:
•Goofy’s Pool, a family pool located on Deck 9, Midship aboard the Disney Magic, main pool with a picture of Goofy on the bottom of the pool. (4ft deep) There’s also 2 hot tubs.
•Quiet Cove Pool is an adults-only 4-foot-deep main pool located on Deck 9, Forward aboard the Disney Magic that offers a relaxing vibe.

🚢 Disney Wonder:
•The main pool deck is located on Deck 9, Midship and includes Goofy’s Family Pool as well as two whirlpool spas.
•Quiet Cove is the adults-only pool area located on Deck 9 of the Disney Wonder. There is a main pool, two whirlpools and plenty of seats and lounge chairs to enjoy the outdoors.

🚢 Disney Dream:
•Mickey’s Pool: A main pool with a splash feature and an underwater movie projector.
•Donald’s Pool: Another main pool, slightly deeper than Mickey’s.
•Funnel Puddle: A family wading pool.
•The Quiet Cove is the adults-only pool area on Deck 11. It has multiple pools and hot tubs.

Going on vacation with friends is good for the soul!

As an adult with kids sometimes it’s nice to get away and just be Kayla for a second. Don’t get me wrong I love vacation with my kids too and there’s nothing wrong with having a little girls or adult getaway.

That being said here’s a great list of Adult Getaway ideas and who they’d be great for:

•Disney Cruise - yes I said it! Sure there are kids onboard but with the adult only areas onboard and beaches on the Disney Owned islands there’s ton of kid free zones. This kind of getaway is great for Disney lovers who want magic and fun!

•Sandals All-Inclusive Resort - These adult only resorts are great to have a cocktail in hand on the beach, chill in the pool or maybe even go on an adventure! This kind of getaway is great for couples who want to relax and have some adventurous fun.

•Virgin Voyages - an adult only cruise where unique entertainment, included exercise classes and specialty voyages all exist! This kind of getaway is for adults who want to enjoy time together with good food and fun times.

•Theme Parks - obviously Disney and Universal are high on that list. Nothing says thrills better than a great coaster. Whichever coast you choose both Disneyland and Disney World is fun as adults too. I mean where else can you drink around the world in one day? Disney Cruise Line now has a private island (Castaway Cay) and a Disney owned island (Lighthouse Point at Lookout Cay). Lighthouse Point at Lookout Cay is known for the 15 minute walk to the island but did you know you can rent these little red wagon FOR FREE?!

Traveling Red Balloon is a whole (sandy) hand years old!!!

Five years ago I set out on a journey to have something of my own, something that I could contribute to the world, something I was passionate about… that something… was the beginning of Traveling Red Balloon.

Along the way my vision for my travel business has changed but it’s always been the same goal, to help families of ALL-KINDS experience travel in a way that’s special to them.

Over these 5 years my family has got confirmation that two of my three kiddos are autistic which has changed my vision for TRB. I saw the struggle we had on our last few vacations and a need for families like my own to have support for their vacations. That’s where I come in!

Disney is my specialty where I offer coaching on the Disability Pass, sensory-friendly guides, and safe food planning, but I extend similar support to various destinations such as Universal, cruises and all-inclusives.
