we love our smoky mountain black bears!🐻 here’s a few things to keep in mind to keep yourself AND our bear friends safe:
1.) keep at least 100ft distance between yourself and the bear. if a bear approaches you, change your direction and stay alert.
2.) never feed the bears (or any wildlife!)
3.) carry bear spray
4.) keep food locked away, and dispose of all trash in designated bear-proof trash bins.
5.) always lock your vehicles; bears can open car doors!

Happy Fun Fact Friday! We get asked by guests all the time if we close our zipline course when it rains and some might be surprised to hear that we’re open rain or shine! Yes, rain isn’t always the ideal ziplining weather, but it doesn’t mean your experience will be ruined at all! In fact, for some, it’s even a more exciting experience. If you have a rainy tour, don’t freak out, it’s going to be fun! We will make your experience the best we possibly can as long as you’re open to having fun and trying something new. If you don’t have a rain jacket with you, we sell them in-store or we supply free rain ponchos 🌧️
