Not all All Inclusive resorts are made the same…

This is why it’s so important to not choose one based on the pricing alone.

Some are known for their upbeat and social atmosphere while others for their upscale and relaxed feel.

Some are known for their food quality while others are let’s say not…

Some are known for their beaches and others for their pools. There are even some where there might be a view of the beach but you can’t get in the ocean.

Choosing an All Inclusive that is right for your family or you and your significant other or friend group can take a lot of filtering to find the right match.

This is why it’s important to work with a travel advisor, hi!, to help match you to the right experience so it’s the vacation you wanted. 🥰

I’m beyond grateful and so excited to share that I’ve been accepted to attend the Future Leaders in Travel conference this August!

Thank you to all of my clients for believing in me and allowing me to be part of your vacation memories over the years. Your trust and support have given me the opportunity to continue growing and learning in this industry.

I’m also incredibly thankful for my Second Star Wishes family and our fearless leader, Andrea Napiontek, for always believing in me and encouraging me to keep reaching higher.

One thing I’ve learned is that we’re never done growing. There is always something new to learn and always room to improve.

I’m excited to spend a few days alongside like minded advisors and hear from travel industry leaders and suppliers so I can continue finding new ways to better serve the families and travelers who trust me with their vacations.

August can’t get here soon enough!

So if you’ve watched my stories today; Mondays are for the moms. My usual focus is on family theme park travel with a big emphasis on special needs and autism travel.

However, the moms behind the chaos coordinating and shuttling the kids to every therapy and appointment plus so many other things need a spotlight every once in a while too. We love the families we’ve built but we need a little break sometimes too.

This is a big reason behind the curated reset at sea I’ve planned for Feb 4-8, 2027. I’ll be traveling with a group of moms (or aunties, caretakers, whoever) that are just in desperate need of a long weekend away to reset and recharge.

I literally can’t wait to just enjoy one another’s company. It’s a completely laid back experience without too many expectations. All curated for you. I’ve tried to thoughtfully include as much as I could and build it into the cost so you aren’t having to worry about every little thing.

I do want to clarify - this isn’t just a group cruise. It’s more. It’s an experience all thought out with extra surprises along the way. There will be a welcome reception the night before the cruise in the hotel lobby area with treats and I have more up my sleeve to make it special.

Come along with us and enjoy some time to yourself reading or if you’re like me…… that long awaited uninterrupted adult convo with a friend or a new friend you’ve made on the trip.

If this is something you’re interested in, please message for the details. ❤️

Also - picture of a recent time for real adult convos and actually still HOT coffee ☺️😂

One thing I had to learn the hard way after becoming a mom? Disney with kids is different.

Before kids, I wanted to do everything. Every ride. Every show. Every snack. Every parade. Every character.

Then I started taking little humans to theme parks and you know what?

The trips where we had the most fun were never the ones where we checked every box.

Now, we pick our top priorities for the day. The things we absolutely don’t want to miss. Once those are done, everything else is just a bonus.

Because sometimes the best memory isn’t the ride you spent months planning around.

Sometimes it’s watching your kids laugh in a splash pad or dance to music in front of a castle or spend 20 minutes chasing ducks instead of rushing to the next attraction.

If you’re planning a Disney vacation with little ones, give yourself permission to slow down. You don’t have to do everything.

You just have to enjoy the people you’re there with.

Sometimes this job looks like closing those last minute details on a clients Paris trip in a month while you’re in the car with your best bud waiting on baby bubba in therapy. ☺️

Hot take… don’t take your small kids to Disney World first. 👀

After finally experiencing Disneyland Resort for myself, I was honestly blown away by how EASY it felt with little ones in mind.

Y’all… the walkability alone? Incredible. Everything feels so close. We’re talking rarely more than about a 10 to 12 minute walk between the parks, hotels, and Downtown Disney. No buses. No monorail transfers. No folding up the stroller every five minutes. You could truly stay onsite and keep your stroller rolling the entire trip. That kind of convenience with toddlers is priceless.

And the atmosphere just feels so interactive and intimate. Characters are out and about in a way that feels so natural and magical. So many attractions are perfect for toddlers and younger kids too because so many of the original classic rides are right there together.

I already know one of my favorite future memories will be watching my boys dance with Mary Poppins and Bert in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle someday. 🥹

Disney World will always have my heart too, but for families with toddlers and small children? Disneyland might honestly be one of Disney’s best kept secrets.

I keep forgetting to stop and share little moments from this trip because I’ve been so busy soaking it all in 🤣

But y’all… Disneyland has been an absolute DREAM so far.

Yes, it’s smaller than Walt Disney World. But there’s something about that that makes it feel extra special. It’s charming in a way that’s hard to explain until you experience it yourself. Knowing this was Walt’s original vision and walking the same paths he personally walked just feels… different.

And can we talk about the walkability?! I’m obsessed. Being able to move between the parks, Downtown Disney, and the resorts so easily has honestly been one of my favorite parts.

Also, the nighttime entertainment here? SO good. And the best part is you aren’t boxed into one option for the evening. There are multiple shows, parades, projections, and experiences happening across both parks. The energy at night here is incredible.

I’m just feeling really grateful to be here learning, experiencing, and taking it all in firsthand so I can bring even more knowledge and strategy back to my clients 🥹✨

There’s actually something really special about travel in the U.S. this year. 🇺🇸

In 2026, America celebrates 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and cities across the country are already planning celebrations, special events, exhibits, fireworks, and experiences that will honestly be once in a lifetime for a lot of families.

And y’all… this is the kind of trip that becomes part of your kids’ core memories someday.

Not just “we took a vacation” memories.
The kind where they remember standing in Boston where history happened.
Walking the cobblestone streets of Savannah at night.
Seeing the monuments lit up in Washington.
Watching fireworks over New York City with thousands of people celebrating together.

I’ve partnered with a supplier who can help me build some really incredible custom packages for these destinations including hotels, tours, experiences, and more.

And honestly? If these trips are even remotely on your radar for 2026, now is the time to start the conversation. The major cities especially are expected to be BUSY around the anniversary celebrations and availability will not stay wide open forever.

If you’ve been dreaming about a meaningful family trip, a girls getaway, or even a history focused adventure with your kids, send me a message and let’s start tossing around ideas. ❤️

I used to think motherhood would mostly be the big moments.
The birthdays. The matching outfits. The magical vacations. The milestones.

But honestly?
A lot of it looks like reheated coffee, waiting rooms, laundry piles, dishes in the sink, snack requests every 14 minutes, and tiny diapers scattered around the house. 🤍

And one day, I know I’ll miss these little ordinary moments so much. Even the exhausting ones. Especially the exhausting ones.

But I also think two things can be true at the same time:

You can deeply love your family and still need a moment to breathe.
You can be grateful for this season and still feel tired.
You can adore motherhood and still need a reset sometimes.

That’s really the heart behind Reset at Sea.
Not escaping motherhood. Not running away from your life.
Just giving yourself permission to pause for a few days, laugh with other women who get it, sleep a little extra, sit in the sunshine, and come home feeling a little more like yourself again.

So honestly… maybe this is the Mother’s Day gift she really needs this year. 🤍🚢

If this sounds like something your soul has been craving, send me your email and I’ll send over the details for the February 2027 Reset at Sea experience. ✨
