✨ Things moms think matter on a Disney vacation... but usually don’t ✨
🤍 Buying everyone a whole new Disney wardrobe
If you want to, go for it! But please don’t feel like you have to. Your kids aren’t going to remember whether their outfit was brand new or from Target clearance last year. Save where it makes sense and spend where it matters most to your family.
🍽️ Booking a dining reservation every day
Again, if that’s your thing, amazing! But it’s definitely not required. Personally, I don’t love having multiple hard stops in the middle of our park days. A couple special meals (or even none) can still make for an incredibly magical trip!
🏨 Feeling like you HAVE to stay Deluxe
Deluxe resorts are beautiful and their accommodations are great...BUT if they’re not in your budget, don’t let that stop you from taking the trip. Value resorts are still full of Disney magic with fun pools, larger-than-life theming, family-friendly food courts, and plenty of excitement for littles.
🎢 Trying to do everything
This is the big one. You WON’T do everything! I’ve been to Disney multiple times and still haven’t done everything. One of my favorite mindset shifts? Plan like you’ll come back someday, even if you don’t know if you will. It takes so much pressure off and helps you focus on making memories instead of checking boxes!
The truth is, the things that matter most on a Disney vacation usually aren’t the things we stress about beforehand. So kick the planning process off the right way, planning for less stress, and let’s work together on planning your magical vacation 🩵
