A day at Castaway Cay is pretty hard to beat, but spending it in the NEW Mickey & Minnie Family Cabanas definitely took it up a notch.

These cabanas are located on Serenity Bay, where the water is calm, clear, and exactly where I wanted to spend the day. The cabana can accommodate up to 10 guests, so there’s plenty of room to spread out and relax.

We had beach towels and bottled water waiting for us, along with a fruit plate and snacks, and pool floats to enjoy in the water. Basically, everything we needed for a very easy day at the beach was right there.

I’ve been wanting to experience these new cabanas since they were announced, and now that I’ve had a day here, I completely understand the hype.

I’ve been a little MIA around here lately because I’ve been busy helping my baby sister prepare for her wedding THIS weekend!

And I think I may have discovered a new hidden talent along the way - flower arrangements! What do you think?!

Thank you so much for your patience with my slower-than-usual response times lately! I promise I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled travel planning soon.

For now, I’m soaking up all the moments leading up to her big day and can’t wait to celebrate with her this weekend!

Then, TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY, I’m off on another adventure with some of my fellow travel agents!

A girls’ trip complete with Halloween costumes, beach cabanas and fireworks at sea!
