Yesterday was one for the books.

We spent the day exploring two of Banff National Park’s most iconic spots—Moraine Lake and Lake Louise and they were every bit as beautiful as everyone says.

One thing to know before you go: personal vehicles are no longer allowed at Moraine Lake, so you’ll need to book a shuttle or guided tour. Since we had a larger group, a private tour was the perfect fit. Our driver, Kai, took great care of us, shared local insight along the way, and made the entire experience easy and stress-free.

Sometimes the best way to experience a destination is to let someone else handle the logistics so you can simply enjoy the views. 💙

Some places really are just as incredible as you’ve imagined and Banff National Park is one of them.

Today we explored Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, two places that truly live up to the hype. Crystal-clear turquoise water, towering mountain peaks, and views that are even more incredible in person.

This is why we pack the bags, book the trip, and chase new adventures. 💙

Today’s adventure was one of our favorites yet - thanks to

We spent the afternoon floating down the beautiful Bow River, taking in the incredible scenery of the Canadian Rockies. It was such a peaceful way to experience Canmore, with stunning mountain views.

Our guide, Patrick, was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable about the area and absolutely wonderful with our girls, keeping them engaged and making the experience even more memorable.

If you’re visiting Canmore, this family-friendly adventure is definitely worth adding to your itinerary!

Home for the week: Canmore, Alberta 🏔️

We’re staying in a spacious penthouse condo with incredible views of the Rocky Mountains, plenty of room for our whole group, and all the extras that make traveling with family easier. From multiple bedrooms and large gathering spaces to a pool table, sauna, heated pool, hot tub, and two mountain-view balconies, it’s the perfect home base for exploring Banff National Park and the surrounding area.

After long days of sightseeing and hiking, there’s nothing better than coming back to relax, soak in the views, and spend time together. This view definitely doesn’t get old!

We made it to Canada! 🇨🇦

Our adventure to Banff National Park is officially underway! We drove from Ohio to Toronto for our flight to Calgary, with a fun overnight stop at Niagara Falls along the way.

Once we landed, we checked into the Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire, and it could not have been a better home base. The spacious suite was perfect for our family, and the location was ideal.

The rest of the crew arrived the next morning, and we kicked off the day with brunch across the street at Local Public Eatery before hitting the road.

Now we’re making our way to Canmore, where our condo will be home for the week as we explore Banff National Park. I have a feeling this is going to be one for the memory books.

Our flight may have been delayed, but that just meant extra Starbucks and a few laps on the PeopleMover before our adventure even begins.

Traveling with kids isn’t always smooth sailing, but a relaxed attitude and an open mind can turn the hiccups into part of the journey. After all, the destination isn’t the whole vacation.

Enjoy the ride because sometimes the unexpected detours become the stories you remember most.
