“Water view or save the $$$?” 👀🏝️

One of the most common questions we get when booking Deluxe Resorts is: Is a water view really worth it?

Here’s the honest answer 👇

✨ Water View
You’ll get those peaceful, pretty views—think lakes, pools, maybe even a glimpse of fireworks depending on the resort. It definitely adds a little extra ✨magic✨ to your stay…especially for morning coffee or winding down at night.

💸 Resort View
This could be anything from gardens to parking areas to rooftops—but at Deluxe Resorts, even the “standard” views are usually still beautiful and well-kept. And the money you save? That could go toward dining, Lightning Lanes, or an extra experience 👏

💡 Our advice:
If you plan to spend a good amount of time in your room or love a relaxing balcony moment—water view can be worth it.
If you’re rope dropping to fireworks and barely in the room—resort view all the way.

1️⃣ Being first in line to meet Elsa and Anna — Collins even got to hold their hands and walk with them to their meet-and-greet spots!

2️⃣ Collins being chosen to go on stage for the Encanto Celebration to sing and dance!

3️⃣ A surprise transformation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique — she had no idea until she walked through the door, and her reaction was pure joy!

Living our best life at EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 🌸🌼… but also keeping it real 💁‍♀️

Yes, we love the booths, the drinks, the vibes at EPCOT… but you better believe we’re also bringing our own snacks to save some $$ 🥪✨

Pro tip: splurge where it matters (hello festival treats 🍓🍹) and save where you can—Disney allows outside food, so take advantage! 🙌

We had a solid plan: get in line for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure since we were staying at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort (which I typically suggest for clients with Skyliner access).

BUT then we saw Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind was only a 35-minute wait… and suddenly it was every family for themselves 😂

Cue the power walk (fine, light jog) across EPCOT while I’m:
📱 Modifying Lightning Lanes
📱 Rebooking Ratatouille for later
📱 Being SUPER pumped we’re riding our favorite ride TWICE before noon 🎉 (we already had an Individual Lightning Lane booked for this morning!)

So, we ditched France, secured Guardians, and still made Ratatouille happen later 🙌

While pivoting, I also noticed Soarin’ Around the World was only a 10-minute wait! So we hopped in standby instead of using a Lightning Lane—and booked Frozen Ever After instead.

Once you tap into your first Lightning Lane (for us, The Seas with Nemo & Friends), you can book another—so we stacked LLs for Test Track, Remy, and Frozen.

Moral of the story: have a plan… but be ready to drop it the second Disney gives you a better one ✨
