This was something that I’ve been wanting to do and it was so neat! We learned a lot, got to go backstage, and even sampled some of the crop!

MAJOR CHANGES are happening to the Carousel of Progress!

Here’s what’s coming:
🚀 An all-new opening featuring a Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic
🌙 A brand-new 1960s scene centered around the Moon Landing
🎃 An 1980s Halloween scene full of retro nostalgia
🎆 A New Year’s Eve 1999 celebration featuring the rise of the internet
🪐 A futuristic off-planet finale inspired by original Disney concept art

And yes… “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” is staying! 🎶✨

The attraction will close July 6, 2026, for this massive refurbishment and is expected to reopen in 2027. This will be the biggest update to Carousel of Progress in over 30 years! 🏰
