Thinking about grabbing Universal Express day-of? Universal Now is now available for purchase. Here is how it works👇

Universal Now is a limited Express option that you can ONLY purchase right in the Universal Orlando Resort app—and only once you’re inside the park.
You’ll choose a participating attraction and get a specific return time to use the Express line. If the ride happens to go down during your window (because…theme parks), they may extend your time all the way through the end of the day.

A few important things to know:
✨ Availability is VERY limited and depends on crowd levels
✨ It pops up randomly throughout the day when space opens
✨ Price will vary based on attraction and/or day
✨ It’s currently offered at Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe

Jersey Week is one of the most popular travel times of the year thanks to the NJ Teachers Convention. Short school days + a long weekend = the perfect excuse to get away 👏

Of course, Walt Disney World is always a top pick—but it’s far from the only option. This week is HUGE for travel across the board, including Disney Cruise Line sailings, Royal Caribbean cruises, trips to Universal Orlando Resort, and all-inclusive stays at Beaches Resorts… just to name a few!!

There’s a moment on every Disney trip that you don’t always expect.

Maybe it’s during the fireworks. Maybe it’s on a ride like Space Mountain. Maybe it’s just walking down Main Street with no real plan at all.

But then it hits you.

That feeling you had as a kid— when everything felt bigger, lighter and a little more magical.

And for a second… you’re right back there.

Not thinking about schedules. Not thinking about everything waiting for you at home. Just being in it. Just being with your people.

That’s what Disney does so well. It gives you a break from real life — and reminds you what it feels like to just enjoy something again.

And honestly… that’s the part people don’t talk about enough.

If you’ve been thinking about skipping Animal Kingdom right now because of construction, here’s my plea to don’t do it. This park is still so worth your time—and honestly, it might surprise you.

You’ve got some of the best rides in all of Disney:
✨ Avatar Flight of Passage (still one of the most incredible experiences anywhere)
✨ Expedition Everest for the thrill lovers
✨ Kilimanjaro Safaris —which is different every single time you ride

And the food here? So underrated.
🍽️ Tiffins Restaurant for a signature experience
🍽️ Satu’li Canteen for quick service that’s awesome
🍽️ Yak & Yeti Restaurant for something fun and shareable
🍽️ Tusker House Restaurant for a character meal that is one of the best in property

There’s also so much to do beyond rides—
🎭 Festival of the Lion King (a must-do, every time)
🎭 Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond!
🐘 Tours like Wild Africa Trek if you want something really special and unique

And honestly? One of my favorite parts… just wandering. The trails like Maharajah Jungle Trek and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail are peaceful, beautiful, and so overlooked. It’s where the park really slows down in the best way.

Plus—there’s more coming 👀 Yes, construction is happening, but it’s leading to exciting updates… like Bluey coming this summer, which is going to be huge for families!

So no—Animal Kingdom is not a “skip right now” park.
It’s a slow down, take it in, and find the magic in the details kind of park… and those are usually the most memorable days.
