Our trip has officially come to a close and we’re up bright and early at the airport about to head back to Indiana! ✈️

Let’s take a look at our last day!

The whole ride to EPCOT, Lillian kept saying “Mee Mouse, boop,” so imagine her excitement when we got past the ropes for Early Entry to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Daisy! ♥️

She got to start the day “booping” more noses!

Then again was over the moon to see princesses come say “Hi!” while she ate her breakfast at Akershus 👑 Ariel, Belle, Tiana, Snow White, and Aurora all stopped by!

After a few rides, we explored Moana’s Journey of Water before making our way *halfway* around the world 🌎

The plan WAS to hop on the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios to check out the new Animation Courtyard and stay a bit for Extended Evening Hours, but Lillian had already had too much fun and wanted to go back to the resort and relax instead 😌

One thing I always like to remind my guests of…
✨ You can plan your days as much as you want, but things are always bound to require a bit of adjusting.

My trips are no exception! Especially with young kiddos 😉

Yesterday was both magical and exhausting 😰✨

I had the bright idea to try to get Lillian to nap in the Baby Center at Magic Kingdom instead of just going back to the resort. Although she did nap for an hour in there, it took me an hour to get her to sleep in the first place 🫩

Aside from that, Magic Kingdom treated us so well ♥️

👉🏻 We rode every ride that Lillian could do, saw some characters, caught the tail end of a show, snagged an awesome spot for the parade that ended up getting cancelled due to lightning, experienced the newly renovated Big Thunder Mountain AND Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger (both AMAZING) - all before 4pm 🎉

🚅 Once we hopped over to EPCOT, we explored the Seas with Nemo & Friends before getting absolutely soaked in a downpour. Eating dinner while cold and wet isn’t the most fun thing, but the food and drinks at Via Napoli were delicious so I can’t complain 😋

Lillian and I called it a night after that, and made the long trek back to the bus with all our gear and her loaded up on mama 😮‍💨 Waited 30 minutes for a bus to even show up, but sweet girl fell asleep once we boarded and stayed asleep once we got back to the room.

We’re sleeping in today before heading back to EPCOT - much deserved! Today we will be doing more rides and using our snack credits to eat (and drink) around the world 🌍

Today started off at Animal Kingdom, with Adventurers Outpost being our first stop to meet Mickey & Minnie! ♥️

Lillian is obsessed with “booping” their noses now!

We then grabbed my FAV breakfast on property at Satu’li Canteen in Pandora before tapping into our Lightning Lane at Flight of Passage ⚡️

Hopped on the train at Conservation Station to go hang out with Bluey & Bingo, and play some Keepy Uppy! 🎈

Said goodbye to Animal Kingdom to come back for a nap before dinner at Whispering Canyon, a BBQ restaurant located in our resort lobby! 🍗

With the night still young, we decided to go check out Magic Kingdom for a bit and hopefully sneak in a few rides before the Starlight Parade and Happily Ever After ✨

Unfortunately, as it sometimes go with young kiddos, Lillian was on the struggle bus by 8pm after two spins on Prince Charming’s Regal Carousel, so she and I made our way back to the resort for bedtime! My mom was awesome enough to send me videos of the parade and nighttime spectacular to watch from the room 🥹 Sometimes you just have to go with the flow when it comes to Disney with kids!

Overall, I think we’d all agree it was a great day 🫶🏻

I’m heading to Walt Disney World tomorrow for our annual girls trip! ✈️

I’ll be hitting a few “firsts” for myself!
✨ Staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
✨ Utilizing the Disney Dining Plan
✨ Experiencing Bluey’s Wild World
✨ Exploring Magic of Disney Animation (opens 9/14!)
✨ Four new (to me) restaurants

Although I treat every Disney World visit as a vacation, I’m also there to learn and experience new things so that I can best help YOU when it comes to planning!

As often as I go, there’s still so much I haven’t done. Things are always changing and updating, and it’s my job to stay on top of it so you don’t have to!

(At least that’s what I tell my husband so that he can’t complain about me going too much… Ask him how often he hears the words “research purposes” 🤪)

Labor Day is one of the most bitter sweet days of the year for me ♥️

👉🏻 On one hand, it marks my absolute favorite weekend of the year where I get to unplug and unwind with the people I love most.

👉🏻 On the other hand, Labor Day is the morning we all pack up to go back to our separate lives.

✨ This year was extra bitter sweet with both of my grandparents now looking down on us. I know they were singing along to every song my dad played around the campfire, on every bike ride around the park, and sitting at the table for every card game - proud to see the family they created continue the beautiful tradition that my great grandpa began all those years ago.

With some extra days tacked on to the long weekend this year to kick off the long-standing tradition of camping at Shakamak State Park, somehow it still wasn’t long enough 🏕️

✨ 5 days • 33+ people • 68 year tradition ✨

You’ll never see me spending Labor Day weekend any other way 🫶🏻
