🎃 JUST BOOKED: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! 🎃

After 5 HOURS total on the phone with Disney, I was able to score tickets to a party date that had sold out(while I was on the phone the first 2 hours might I add)😭🙌🏻

And while spending five hours on the phone with Disney might not sound like a win… my clients don’t have to do that part. I do. 👏🏻

This is one of those moments that perfectly shows the benefit of booking your Disney vacation with a travel agent like me.

✨Why January might just be Disney’s best-kept secret… 👀✨

It’s honestly one of my favorite times to recommend because:

🤍 Cooler temperatures make those long park days so much more enjoyable.
🎨 EPCOT Festival of the Arts usually begins in January and is one of Disney’s most underrated festivals.
📸 You’ll often find lighter crowds than many of Disney’s busiest seasons.
💰 Resort prices are often lower than during many peak travel periods.

And here’s my favorite part…

You don’t have to pay for your entire vacation today. 💜

For Walt Disney World vacation packages, you can reserve your trip with just a $200 deposit, then make payments whenever you’d like until your final balance is due 30 days before you travel. That makes planning your dream vacation so much more manageable!

It’s officially August which means Halloween 🎃 at Disney. Are you attending MNSSHP this season? If so here are some of my favorite tips 👇🏼

🎃 1. Don’t try to do everything.
The party goes by FAST. Pick your top 3-4 priorities before you arrive.

🍬 2. Trick-or-treat early.
The candy lines are usually shorter at the beginning of the party.

👑 3. Costumes are fun… but comfort wins.
Florida is HOT even in October. Lightweight costumes and comfy shoes make a huge difference.

✨ 4. Arrive before the party starts!
Party guests can enter Magic Kingdom at 4pm before the official party time, giving you extra time to ride attractions before the event begins.

🎆 5. Don’t skip the parade.
Boo-to-You is one of the best Disney parades. Get your spot early if it’s a must-do. They have 2 parade times each night!

🧡 6. If you have little ones… don’t stress if you leave early.
A happy kid beats squeezing in one more ride every single time.

Halloween at Disney is one of the best seasons 👻 We can’t wait to step back into the magic this October ✨

✨ Disney Myth: You have to spend $10,000 to take your family to Disney.

I hear this ALL the time.

And honestly? I get why people think that. If you spend five minutes on the internet, it can feel like everyone is staying at deluxe resorts, buying every add-on, eating every character meal, and spending thousands and thousands of dollars.

But here’s what I wish more people knew…

There isn’t one “right” way to do Disney.

Some families are celebrating a once-in-a-lifetime trip and want to go all out. Others just want to watch their kids hug Mickey, enjoy the parks, and make memories together.

Both trips are just as magical.

One of my favorite parts of this job is helping families figure out where their money will make the biggest impact. Maybe that’s staying at a Value Resort so you can spend more days in the parks. Maybe it’s skipping a few extras so you can add Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or an after hours event. Maybe it’s choosing a resort with a Skyliner station because convenience matters more to you than a fancy room.

Every family is different, and that’s exactly how it should be.

My goal isn’t to convince you to spend more. It’s to help you plan a vacation that fits your family, your priorities, and your budget.

🎃 If you’re going to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, here’s my biggest advice…

✨ Don’t try to do everything.

Seriously. There is SO much to do between trick-or-treating, the parade, fireworks, characters, rides, and all the exclusive snacks. If you try to fit it all in, you’ll probably leave feeling like you missed something.

Instead, pick your family’s top 3-5 “must-dos” before you even walk through the gate. Everything else is just a bonus.

A few more tips:
🧡 Wear comfortable shoes. You’ll walk A LOT.
🍬 Bring a bigger bag for candy if you’re planning to trick-or-treat.
📱 Keep an eye on the party map once it’s released so you can make a game plan.
🎭 If you’re dressing up, remember…it’s still Florida. 😂 Lightweight costumes are your friend.

And if you’re sitting there thinking, “I waited too long to plan a Halloween Disney trip this year…”

You didn’t. 🎃

If Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is on your family’s bucket list, here’s my biggest piece of advice…

Don’t go into it trying to do everything. 🎃

I know it’s tempting because it’s a separately ticketed event, but I promise your kids won’t remember how many rides you squeezed in. They’ll remember trick-or-treating through Magic Kingdom, seeing their favorite characters dressed up for Halloween, dancing at the party, and soaking up all the magic.

If you have little ones, I’d also plan for some afternoon rest if you can. The party runs from 7 PM to midnight(you can get in as early as 4pm) and while you definitely don’t have to stay until the very end, starting the evening with well-rested kiddos can make a huge difference. 🙌🏼

Before you go, pick a few “must-dos” as a family. Maybe it’s the Boo-to-You Parade, the fireworks, collecting candy, enjoying one of the ride overlays, or meeting a favorite character. Everything else is just a bonus.

One thing I tell my clients all the time: you don’t have to do everything to have the best night. Sometimes slowing down is what makes the memories. ✨
