I have been extremely fortunate to represent the Louisiana’s River Parishes during the International Sales and Media Mission, New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Jazz Museum Goutte d’Or Jazz fest!

The connections have been made! The River Parishes along with tourism leaders from around the great state of Louisiana, locked arms with tourism leaders from France and Italy.

A great big MERCI BEAUCOUP and GRAZIE! They planned a dizzying array of educational seminars about their local markets, one on one sales meetings, and networking opportunities with international media, tourism industry influencers, tour operators and travel professionals.

Our collective goal: bring more tourists to Louisiana! Those international connections will grow into economic opportunities for our communities.

We love representing Louisiana and last few days have been “merveilleux”!

🍤 Seasonings for the Festival Jazz Nouvelle Orléans à la Goutte d’Or tailgate with the New Orleans Jazz Museum and Helena Moreno.

🥂 A special Soirée with the Louisiana delegation hosted by Mrs. Gayle Benson and the New Orleans Saints.

📣 The pregame festivities at the Maison du Saints and events leading up to the game.

🏈 The 1st ever NFL game in Paris, France with the Explore Louisiana team meeting with media, influencers and travel writers.

🏆 The real victory goes to all those building bridges and promoting tourism between the people of France and Louisiana!

We found andouille in Paris!

Same name, entirely different culinary traditions!

Andouille de Guémené
Originating from Guémené-sur-Scorff in Brittany, France, this artisan delicacy is crafted by hand-threading roughly 25 concentric layers of smoked pig intestines inside one another. Sliced thin, it creates a striking tree-ring pattern with a deep, earthy, smoky profile.

Louisiana Andouille
Born along the "German Coast" of Louisiana’s River Parishes, this heavy-hitter is made from coarsely chopped pork shoulder, garlic, cayenne, and hot peppers, then slow-smoked over pecan or oak wood. It’s the spicy, bold backbone of authentic Cajun jambalaya and gumbo.

One is a delicate Breton charcuterie tradition; the other is the fiery heart of Bayou cooking.
