Planning a day in Las Vegas? Here’s an itinerary that combines food, immersive experiences, iconic hotels and incredible city views.

Start the morning with tacos at Tacos El Gordo before heading to Omega Mart at AREA15. What looks like an unusual supermarket is actually an interactive art experience filled with hidden rooms, clues and stories.

Afterward, return to the Strip and explore The Venetian’s indoor canals, bridges and European-inspired streets. Continue to the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, then step outside to see the Bellagio fountains with the Paris Las Vegas Eiffel Tower in the background.

For an afternoon break, visit the Coca-Cola Store and try the Around the World Tray, featuring a selection of drinks from different countries.

Finish the day with dinner at Carbone—advance reservations are recommended—followed by a helicopter flight over the Las Vegas lights.

A few practical tips:

Waking up on the 56th floor of Encore Las Vegas at around 7 AM, I opened the curtains and caught Orbi starting the day right outside my window.
The morning animations seemed to appear more frequently, so an early wake-up was absolutely worth it. Would you book this view for your next Vegas trip?

Could Angels Landing be America’s best hike?

Its final stretch follows a narrow sandstone ridge high above Zion Canyon, with steep drop-offs and chains helping hikers through the most exposed sections.

It is demanding, dramatic, and certainly not a trail to underestimate—but when the canyon finally opens up below, it is easy to understand why this hike has become so iconic.

From a distance, Bryce Canyon looks like a forest.

Look closer, and every “tree” is a tower of red rock—layer after layer of hoodoos filling the natural amphitheater below.

When the sunlight catches their highest points, a few seem to glow while the rest of the canyon waits in shadow.

Imagine hiking nearly 10 miles through a dry, red canyon—and finding turquoise waterfalls at the end.

Havasu Falls sits deep within Havasu Canyon, far from any ordinary roadside stop. Visitors first travel roughly 66 miles from the nearest services at Peach Springs to the trailhead, then continue into the canyon on foot.

Planning to hike The Narrows? Save these tips before you step into the river. 📌

Unlike a typical Zion hike, much of The Narrows means actually walking through the Virgin River—over slippery, uneven rocks with canyon walls rising high above you.

A few things worth knowing before you go:

🥾 Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes..
The riverbed is rocky and slippery, so sandals and Crocs are a bad idea.

🦯 Bring a hiking stick or trekking pole.
It makes balancing against the current much easier and helps you check the depth ahead.

💧 Keep your phone and valuables waterproof.
Even when the river looks shallow, deeper sections can appear unexpectedly.

⛈️ Always check the weather, river conditions, and flash-flood potential before entering.
Conditions in a slot canyon can change quickly.

And if you’re hiking **bottom-up from the Temple of Sinawava**, you can turn around whenever you want—no need to force yourself to reach a specific endpoint.
