Hamburg Germany, here we come! Our cruise gave us an overnight stop in Hamburg before going through the kiel canal. Hamburg was good. Nothing crazy interesting. There was a lot of damage done to the city during WWII so virtually everything is modern buildings/high rises.

Next up... The Netherlands! Husband and I did a tour outside of Amsterdam since we had both been to Amsterdam before. The guide through Azamara was lacking. I believe this particular tour could have been very engaging had the guide been different but who knows. Adam and I left the tour early, grabbed a bus and headed back into Amsterdam ourselves

Brugge was next! I think I love this city. It has so much charm and was preserved during world war II (not demolished) which is so nice. The food in Belgium is amazing, not to mention the chocolates! I think I would gain so much weight if I lived here.

More of Dover... Here is where we had a special evening at Dover Castle. This is put on by the cruise line and they bused us to the castle where they had a medieval festival set up for us. Reenactors played musical instruments, gave guided tours of the castle, taught you to play old games, and put on performances.
