The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority Board voted unanimously to approve the renaming of Nashville International Airport in honor of .

On Friday morning, the BNA board gave unanimous approval to rename the airport in honor of the late country music legend and Tennessee native.

She died Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 80 years old after a brief battle with cancer. https://bit.ly/4ywhFTy
