I am definitely Team Aisle Seat ✈️🙋‍♀️

Always have been.

For me personally, I like having the option to get up whenever I want, especially on longer flights. I don’t like feeling trapped in a window seat or having to ask people to move every time I need to stretch my legs.

My ideal seat?
✔️ Aisle seat
✔️ Toward the front of the plane
✔️ NOT near a restroom 😅

The older I get and the more I travel, comfort and convenience matter more and more to me. I also like getting off the plane a little quicker when possible.

Everyone has their own travel style though. Some people love the window for the views, and some people somehow survive the middle seat 😂

One of the biggest decisions when booking flights is:
✈️ Direct flight or a flight with a layover?

Honestly… there are pros and cons to both, and sometimes the “best” option depends on your travel style, budget, and destination.

🛫 DIRECT FLIGHTS
Pros:
• Less chance of missed connections
• Faster overall travel time
• Less stress with bags and gate changes
• Great for families, seniors, or nervous travelers
• Fewer delays caused by connection issues

Cons:
• Often more expensive
• Limited flight times or availability
• Sometimes not available depending on destination

🔄 FLIGHTS WITH LAYOVERS
Pros:
• Can save a significant amount of money
• More flight options and flexibility
• Sometimes breaks up a very long travel day
• Opportunity to stretch, grab food, or recharge

Cons:
• Risk of delays and missed connections
• Longer total travel time
• More opportunities for luggage delays
• Running through airports is not as fun as movies make it look 😅

Personally, if the price difference is reasonable, I usually lean toward nonstop flights, especially for international trips or short vacations where every hour counts.

But sometimes a good layover can save hundreds of dollars and make the trip possible within budget.
