Photo Walk: Capturing Motion at Roaring Run Streamside Trail

When: Saturday, March 29, 2025 beginning at 10:00 am

Roaring Run Trail offers a perfect place to practice the motion techniques taught in the March meeting. Roaring Run is an easy hike up the paved Streamside Trail that runs along a fast-moving stream. At the end of the trail, a natural, thirty foot waterfall cascades down on a large rock formation. This location is an easy walk and offers many beautiful places to practice intentional camera movement and long exposure techniques. This outing is appropriate for participants using DLSR, digital cameras and mobile phones.

Meet in the parking lot.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, tonight's meeting has been cancelled due to the weather; we hope to see you in February.

Come join us for a very basic and introductory foray into the world of Photoshop AI where we will discuss and demonstrate some of the basic uses for AI in Photoshop. Chuck Almarez will demonstrate some basic techniques and work through several examples of the new Generative Fill layer possibilities. We’ll work solving real problems with real examples, eg, how to make your 2x3 image format fit an 8x10 space without cropping. Or how about creating a pano out of your 4x5 image without cropping, plus a few tips and tricks and things to look out for in Photoshop AI.
