Tomorrow we have a charter flight to an airstrip on a remote area of the Tsimane indigenous people’s land within Bolivia. It’s the nexus between the Andes and the Upper Amazon Basin. The Tsimane are an Amazonian forager-horticulturalist group inhabiting lowland forests and savannahs east of the Andes in the Beni department of Bolivia. Tsimane villages are concentrated along the banks of the headwaters of the Upper Amazon River Basin. This is anthropologically, culturally, fauna, and flora fascinating. Let’s go see what we can find.

Without the extraordinary guides and professional outfitters, it’s hard to imagine it would even be possible. I don’t think so.
