This was the sweetest photo shoot & lesson I did recently with two sisters - or I guess I should say - seastars as they were just transformed into mermaids! 🧜‍♀️

You can see their connection & sisterly bond so clearly in these photos, yes? 👯

It’s such a joy to work with women who have had life long dreams of being a mermaid! 🐚

Looking forward to participating in this ocean conservation event on Kaua'i on Sunday for World Oceans Day! I'll have a booth there with my ocean conservation mermaid book 'Kaimana the Hawaiian Mermaid', mermaid shirts, other books to help spread the word about how important it is to have a healthy ocean!

Parade is from 10-11 am and festivities go on till 2 pm. This is such a fun, festive atmosphere and well worth attending!

It was such an incredible experience being at the Water Bear Photography underwater photography workshop in Florida recently! 📸

I learned so much from the wonderful Kimber with her extensive underwater photography experience. It was great to meet her after all these years of admiring her work. She is truly a beautiful person, inside and out! ♥️

As I’m rather new to being behind the camera, it takes some courage to post this photo, but I do want to showcase the beauty of these phenomenal models (and human beings) .wild.ethereal & 🧜‍♀️ This is the first of many edited photos!

I also loved everyone in the workshop & was deeply inspired by my colleagues who attended it.

It’s a very cool thing to be on the other side of the camera & learning to capture the magic of the experience after so many years of being a 🧜‍♀️ & doing underwater modeling myself. It’s been such a healing path for me, I am drawn to share this powerful transformational experience with others! This is exactly what I’m doing through my 🧜‍♀️ biz - offering underwater portrait photography experiences on Kaua’i, Hawaii! Check out my page! 🏝️
