Sometimes the best Disney days are the ones that absolutely do NOT follow the plan. ☔️✨

We had the perfect park plan mapped out… and then the rain said, “Cute idea.” So we scrapped it, pivoted, and made a brand-new plan that still gave us a really fun day.

That’s honestly one of my biggest Disney tips: have a plan, but don’t hold it so tightly that you miss the magic happening right in front of you. Weather, crowds, ride closures, tired kids, tired adults — things happen. The difference between a stressful day and a great one is often how quickly you’re willing to adjust.

Perfect park days aren’t always perfectly planned. Sometimes they’re perfectly pivoted.

And when the rain shows up? Sometimes you just have to dance in it. ☔️💛

✨️ This week’s Feature Family Friday is the Alecusan Family!✨️ They had an incredible time during their Disney trip, staying at the beautiful Beach Club Resort. They loved experiencing the Halloween festivities at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, adding a spooky, fun twist to their adventure. The entire trip was filled with magic, fun, and special moments, making it one they’ll always cherish.

The Alecusan Family said, “Thank you, Jessica! Our Disney trip was amazing! One of our favorite memories is eating at Chef Mickey’s. Cooper was in heaven meeting Mickey and the gang in real life! I’m so thankful you secured that restaurant reservation for us.”

Disney’s Riviera Resort is one of those places that feels peaceful, polished and magical all at the same time. The 1-bedroom villa is such a great option for families who want more space, easier mornings, and a beautiful place to come “home” to after the parks.

Head's up! Your kids are not getting younger. 😭

🚢 Disney Cruise Line's 50% off kids offer ends June 14🚢 and it applies to some really great sailing dates—including Fall Break, Halloween on the High Seas, Very Merrytime Cruises, and Spring Break.

The discount is great.

But the thing I'd pay attention to is the calendar.

Because these are exactly the types of trips families talk about taking "someday."

And then suddenly the kids are graduating.

Florida heat + tired little travelers = not always the most magical combination. ☀️🥵

One of my favorite Disney World secrets? The splash pads! They're a great way for kids to cool off, burn off some energy, and reset before the next attraction. Bonus: they're completely free and scattered throughout the parks and resorts.

Don't forget to throw a change of clothes in your park bag!

A little water can go a long way toward saving the day! 💦✨

✨This week's is the Bish Family!✨This Disney-loving mom/daughter duo packed an incredible amount of magic into their visit! They timed their trip perfectly to enjoy the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, where they helped paint the community mural, watched talented artists at work, and even stepped into famous works of art. They enjoyed the Broadway Concert Series, a delicious meal at Shiki-Sai Izakaya and Sushi, and plenty of festival food—Canada earned the title of favorite booth! It's no surprise they're already planning their next trip!

The Bish Family said, "It was a great trip! We were able to experience so many of our favorite attractions while also enjoying new things we hadn't done before. Alison helped us maximize our time, take advantage of Extended Evening Hours, and make sure we didn't miss the special festival experiences that made this trip unique. We're already talking about our next visit!"

Some people have a summertime Magic Kingdom touring strategy.

Mine is apparently:

"How can I get from one air-conditioned attraction to another without melting?" ☀️😆

When the Florida heat starts winning, I start working these attractions into my day.

They're seated.
They're indoors.
They rarely require a Lightning Lane.
They're all at least 10 minutes long.
And they're scattered throughout the park, so relief is usually just around the corner.

It's not giving up.

It's advanced Disney planning. 💁‍♀️☀️

You know what sounds luxurious to me these days?

Not a fancy room.

Not a swim-up bar.

Not even the beach.

It's waking up and having absolutely nothing that needs my attention.

No schedule.
No errands.
No dinner plans.
No group text asking where everyone is.

Just deciding whether I'm walking to the beach first or ordering another cup of coffee and staying exactly where I am.

I think that's why all-inclusive vacations appeal to so many people.

Not because they're extravagant.

Because they're a rare chance to be off duty.

So tell me - If I handed you a plane ticket tomorrow, what would be the first thing you'd do when you arrived?
