The Garden Cottages at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn feel more like a hidden little Disney retreat than a hotel room.

I love that you can step away from the energy of the BoardWalk and suddenly feel tucked into this peaceful little garden. The cottage has a cozy living room downstairs, a king bedroom upstairs and a balcony with such a beautiful view.

You can have breakfast in the Club Level lounge, walk to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios, come back for evening snacks and drinks, and then head back out to enjoy the BoardWalk at night.

It’s quiet without feeling removed, romantic without trying too hard and unlike almost any other room at Disney.

Worried you might get seasick on a cruise? You're definitely not alone. 🚢

This is one of the biggest reasons people hesitate to try cruising, and it's a valid concern.

But it also doesn’t have to be the reason you rule it out completely because there are options that can help prevent motion sickness before it ever starts.

I use a Scopolamine patch every time I cruise. I put it on before we sail, and I have never been seasick on a Disney Cruise.

Maybe the ocean would bother me. Maybe it wouldn’t. I have simply chosen not to find out. 😂🌊

So if seasickness is the thing making you say, “I could never cruise,” don’t count yourself out just yet. It may be worth a conversation with your doctor.
