There are very few experiences that I’ve had in the last several years that have turned me into a small child in a candy shop. But having an exclusive tour of the Marimekko factory and headquarters did just that. The colors! The technique! The refusal to waste and emphasis on upcycling!

This brand was founded in the early 1950’s in Finland to bring joy to the postwar era. It produces timeless, vibrant clothing and you can spot a Marimekko print from miles away.
