Today has been nothing short of amazing! If you know BAC and what we stand for, there should never be a reason or question of who we are and what represent.

We are very very intentional with everything we do and love which is our community.

Thank you all for showing up to the Reimagine Chickasaw Not only did we get the work done, but we had a great time in doing so!

Thank you Fari for being very intentional with our partnership with Louisville Olmsted Parks Conservancy The intergenerational focus group was absolutely phenomenal.

We heard from our Youth, Our Teens, Our young adults, and our Elders!!

They listened to each other, respected each other, and enjoyed each other.

This is what collective, community, Brainstorming, strategic planning looks like!!

Community was had, culture was centered, and connection were made.

Thank you all for showing up for us, each other, and most importantly yourself.

We camp together, we hike together, we even kayak together, but one thing we are for sure gonna do is wait for each other, be there for each other, and laught at/with each other.

When it comes to our parks and greenlands we are often left out of the conversation.

It is imperative for us to step up to the plate and make sure we are seen and heard.

Our parks, especially in Black communities are typically under invested, not maintained, and/or over policed.

We have the opportunity to change that!

So my question to you as tax payers, community stakeholders, and residence.

Are you going to stand by and allow them to give you what they want you to have or are you going to show up in the decision making rooms??

Black A*z Camping is inviting, paying, and feeding you to do just that... What's your excuse?

Now is your time to be heard! This is your space and we need you to know it!! This is an intergenerational focus group! Yes we need to hear from your kids too!!!

Access to green lands is very important, but more important when you have say in the matter.

Whatchaw getting yaw Mother for Mother's day? Pick a trip she deserves.

You as a mother are deserving!! Ain't nothing wrong with giving yourself something without feeling guilty...or..or..or.. attempting to do something for yourself, then end up doing something for someone else instead!! (We forget about that part)

Let's be real, We need a break, mental clarity is essential, and an unfogged mind is necessary!
