Memorial Day gets folded into the first long weekend of summer — the cooler, the boat, the first sunburn of the year. Easy to scroll past what today is actually for.
It's for the men and women who died serving this country. We're not going to scroll past that.
So first: we remember them. And we hold space for the families who carry that loss every day.
Then, we honor it the way it's meant to be honored: together. We do what they protected the right to do.
Our captains are on the water safely running tours in John's Pass. The Gulf, just off Madeira Beach is wide open and the sandbar is calling. If you're out here today with the people you love — locals, regulars, the families who come back to this water every summer, we can't wait to continue celebrating with you! This krewe is yours as much as it's ours.
To the ones who gave everything: thank you. We won't forget. 🇺🇸
