Stock images for now, but in just 2 weeks I will have my own photos and videos of the Disney Destiny!!
🛳 Disney's newest ship (stateside) currently sails from Fort Lauderdale, so I will going to both of Disney's private islands - Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. 🏝

✨️This ship is "Heroes and Villains" themed bringing together characters and stories from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel!

Throughout the ship, guests encounter immersive spaces inspired by:
🕷️ Marvel — including Worlds of Marvel dining experience and The Sanctum, a Doctor Strange-inspired lounge.
🦁 The Lion King — featured in the Pride Lands - Feast of the Lion King dining experience.
❄️ Frozen — with Frozen, A Musical Spectacular.
⚡️ Hercules — starring in a brand-new stage production.
🐶 101 Dalmatians — the elegant De Vil's piano lounge puts Cruella front and center.
🐈‍⬛ Black Panther/Wakanda — the Grand Hall draws inspiration from Wakandan architecture and characters.

I feel like a lot of people talk about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and skip over Jollywood Nights!
🎬Jollywood Nights is my favorite party event that Walt Disney World has to offer! The theme is holidays in old Hollywood and it is absolutely riddles with unique live entertainment offerings!

Last year, I got to experience:
⛸️Glisten - an ice skating show (yes, in Hollywood Studios),
🐸🐽 A stage show featuring Kermit the Frog and Ms Piggy,
💃 Latin dance party featuring Jose and Panchito,
🎙1920s style live jazz band... and much more!

This event targets a slightly older audience than Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which is partly why I loved it so much! As a certified Disney adult with no children, this was a perfect blend of the classic Disney characters we all love and a variety of upscale, unique entertainment.

‼️Don't sleep on this one, if you're a performing arts nerd, or just love a well-themed Christmas party!

People ask me SO OFTEN why I talk about food in Walt Disney World so much.
"Isn't it just those pretzels and Dole Whip stuff?"
Let me say first of all, Dole Whip should not be dismissed, but NO!! Second, there are so many incredible places to eat on property that I rarely even eat the same thing twice and still manage to mostly eat at 4⭐️ and 5⭐️ restaurants.

This was one of my most recent meals, and it was pretty spectacular!
Bourbon Steak - A Michael Mina Restaurant is located inside the Dolphin Hotel, which is walking distance from EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

You just gotta know the right places if you don't want pretzels, cheeseburgers, and puffy pizza. 😉
