Our journey to Marathon, FL, all started with its general aviation airport and FBO that welcomes private pilots. Not long after discovering it, we were flying our Cessna 210 down to the Keys on Christmas Day—daughter, cat, and the last of the fridge milk in tow! A car was waiting for us on the ramp, and in minutes we were settled into our own little piece of paradise just across the street.
