We are still catching lobster! Not for long. Once the water temperature goes below 80 degrees, it’s not so fun.

No action shots today because I had my hands full. Smaller table, so not all we kept is shown. I stop at a certain point and we let the candidates for best survival go back to be caught again another day. Everything was good. Rods bent from start to finish. Cooler water is making for some great catching.
Important note, my location is changed per the dock construction at captain hooks Marina. I’m centrally located in the middle of marathon easy to find, quiet and private. Probably going to be the case into 2027. 2 minute difference.

All this gloomy weather has me feeling funky. I’m ready to get back out there to play! Here was the last day before this rotten weather pattern moved in. That sure was nice!!😎

Pretty great yellowtail snapper bite been going on last weekend. We have a wrinkle in the weather coming up in a few days, but afterwards the quality bite should continue. Slow season is here and the pressure is off in many of our fisheries. It makes for easier more comfortable fishing experiences.

Summer is winding down, but still plenty of lobster out there. I will probably not offer lobster trips beyond the end of October or when the water falls below 80 degrees.

Not my world, my universe has more parts, moving parts, variables and moments that could be described in any reasonable context. The constraints of social media should let me show you, but no. We can’t do videos and pictures or this not in the order of that. Ok. probably need a live stream. It could easily be a drinking game. Anybody remember night with Dave Attel? I do that under the sunniest of suns on a boat in the ocean. Only weirder.

Rinse and repeat today. Better visibility and less jellyfish. Lobster trip tomorrow, family fish and snorkel Sunday. A little bit of all the fun this time of year has to offer.

Sneaking Sally through the alley of weather and getting some good trips in. Weekend is booked, but week days are yours if you want to play .
