I had Mr. Phillip and his wife out this morning and for some reason the fish decided to sleep in until about 9am, but when they woke up it was on! We caught them left and right for almost 2 hours then then it got hot and they were ready to get back in the A/C!

I’ve got some openings next Friday and Saturday so hit me up for a bass or a crappie trip!

I finally got back on the water this morning after taking some time off with my family, and the bite did not disappoint! I never found any good groups that were willing to bite, but there were plenty of big singles in the 15-20ft range that were hungry! Small baits and perfect presentation were key, but if you did everything right they’d bite every time. I put a limit in the boat in about 2 hours.

I’m open next Monday (9/7) as well as Friday and Saturday (9/11 and 9/12)

Baby girl made her arrival Monday, and we’re back home! I’m going to take a few days off, but I’ll open my schedule back up starting this Saturday!

The fish are still biting and it seems like we’re getting just a little relief from this heat! Get with me whether you want to catch shallow topwater fish, deep structure related fish, or even schooling fish chasing bait!

The fishing was so good Saturday evening that I had to get my other brother-in-law in on the action yesterday evening! We each caught one close to 5 pounds and boated around 15 fish in the 2-5 pound range, and we did it all in less than 2 hours!

If you’re looking for something to do for Labor Day, the fish are biting really well on multiple lakes and I have some openings!

I was able to get my father in law and brother in law out on the lake for a few hours yesterday evening, and I’m sure glad we did! The big summer schools are still out there, and there are some BIGS biting!

In 3 hours we landed a 7lbr, a 5lbr, and a few 3-4lbrs, had a 5 fish stringer of around 21lbs!

The evening bite is great, and I’m starting to book a few more trips at the end of this month as well as September. This is also a great time to get your graphs dialed in!

Went to a lake I haven’t been to in a while this morning and got on an insane schooling bite! Brett Jolley and I caught probably 30 fish and had almost 18lbs of all schoolers!
