Another solid mess of fish hit the table at Sandlin today! We had to cover a little more ground this morning, but we still ran into plenty of willing participants!

I have Friday morning open still if anyone wants to get out and put some slabs in the boat! I’ll knock $50 off a trip for 1 if you want to book Friday morning!

All of our fish today were caught on minnows on timber and laydowns from 14-20ft.

It’s always a good time with Mr. Tom in the boat, but it’s especially good when the fish cooperate! We slid out to sandlin and put a limit of good quality fish in the box in no time.

The fish are transitioning into their fall pattern and the bite is super good! We caught them all on 1/16th ounce jigs in 15-18ft. One was a shad colored plastic and the other was a Charlie's Yankin' Shanks hand tie.

The bite is great and the weather is perfect! I have openings next week, and I’d love to have you out on the water!

I had Mr. Vernon out on Pines this morning and this warm weather had the crappie in a bad mood! He was able to put together a solid mess of fish but we absolutely had to work for them!

I’m super excited about this cold front blowing in Friday! I have some openings the next 2 weeks and I’d love to get you on the water!

Sorry, I’ve gotten a little behind on posting. I had a trip on sandlin the other day and we struggled to get fish to commit all day. Toward the end of the trip we got a little something figured out and put a decent table of fish together.

We expanded on that pattern the next day and found TONS of hungry crappie and put 50 good quality fish on ice!

The fish have started to move up in the creeks and we caught them in 12-16ft on a combination of minnows and jigs.

Super blessed to be able to take a day off from fishing and put some meat in the freezer early in the season!

“Fishing tip” of the day: if you’ve never shot a G5 megameat broadhead, you should!

The crappie and bass bite is getting better every day as the water cools off! I’m open this Thursday and a few days next week. Get with me to book!

I braved the rain this morning to get out on pines to do a little scouting, and I wasn’t disappointed! Both the black and white crappie are getting more willing to eat. I caught 35-40 keepers in a few hours, and went in to get out of the rain.

The black crappie are in large groups primarily in 10-15ft on brush piles and laydowns. The whites are in small groups on timber in 18-22ft.

The bait didn’t seem to matter much this morning as I caught fish on a variety of jigs.

I’m open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday next week, so shoot me a message to get out there and catch a mess of fish!

I had Mr. Darrell out on sandlin this morning, and he made quick work of a limit of slabs! The weather was perfect, the water was calm, and the fish were absolutely biting!

He caught all of his fish on a minnow and slip cork off 2 brush piles. One was in 24ft and the other was in 15ft. This fish are moving a lot and biting better every day!

Get with me to get your trip booked as the weather cools down and the fishing gets hot!

The crappie and bass are both on fire with the cooler weather rolling in and I have some openings next week!

Crappie are starting to feed and group up in piles and timber, and there are bass both in the grass and out chasing bait/schooling!

This is a fun time of year to get on the water!
