IMPORTANT TRAVEL UPDATE: Flying to or Connecting Through the United States? Read This Before You Fly!
Starting November 3, 2026, travelers flying internationally to the United States, including those connecting through the U.S. to another destination, must comply with a new mandatory passenger attestation requirement issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

This requirement applies to all airlines, regardless of carrier, and to passengers of all nationalities, including U.S. citizens and Green Card holders.
📋 What Is Required?
Passengers must sign an attestation confirming that they have not been present in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) during the 21 days before their flight to the United States.
Important: Being present in the DRC includes transiting through a DRC airport, even if you did not leave the aircraft or airport.
✅ What Travelers Need to Do
Check with your airline for instructions on completing and submitting the required attestation.
Complete and sign the form. Each passenger must provide their own attestation. For travelers under 18, a parent, guardian, or authorized person may sign on their behalf.
Submit the attestation according to your airline's instructions, whether through an approved digital process or in paper form.
⚠️ Important Reminder: Passengers who fail to provide the required attestation may be denied boarding on flights to the United States. Travelers who have been present in the DRC within the preceding 21 days are subject to additional restrictions and must not falsely attest otherwise.
