My newest obsession? River cruising.

In March 2026, I traveled to Vienna with colleagues from Straight Away Travel
to attend the ASTA River Cruise Expo — and it completely elevated my knowledge and appreciation for this style of travel.

Since then, I’ve experienced and toured some incredible itineraries firsthand:
• The Rhône with AmaWaterways River Cruises
• The Danube with Avalon Waterways River Cruises
• And most recently, the Rhine with Viking River Cruises

What made the Expo so valuable was the opportunity to experience European river cruising firsthand while gaining in-depth product knowledge, sales training, ship tours, and networking with many of the world’s leading river cruise brands. We toured multiple ships, connected directly with suppliers, explored Vienna, and learned the details that truly help advisors match clients with the right river cruise experience.

There’s simply no substitute for firsthand experience. I don’t just sell river cruises — I invest time learning these products onboard, walking the ships, experiencing the excursions, and understanding the differences between cruise lines so I can confidently guide my clients to the best fit for their travel style.

And honestly? I’m just getting started.
