🚗 Tomorrow morning, head to Sweet Auburn BBQ for a special Smoke & Mirrors collaboration featuring a one of a kind unveiling of the new Mustang GTD.

Memorial Day weekend is here, and Henry County is filled with ways to spend it meaningfully and memorably.

🎉 Another packed weekend in Henry County!

Celebrate the legacy of Carrie Mae Hambrick, check out not one but TWO car shows with Smoke & Mirrors at Sweet Auburn BBQ and another at the Locust Grove City Hall, cheer on the Georgia Revolution at their home game, and hit the court for a basketball game with the Mayor of Stockbridge. 🏀🚗⚽

Long before it was a beloved restaurant, the Green Front Cafe was simply Carrie Mae Hambrick’s home - and during a time of segregation in the late 1940s, she made one thing clear: if someone was hungry, they would be fed. No matter the color of their skin, all they had to do was come and ask.

That compassion grew into what is believed to be the first restaurant in Stockbridge, serving the community for more than 50 years and leaving a legacy far greater than food alone. In 2018, Diane Miller and her daughter Malana reopened the cafe to continue preserving the spirit of service, love, and community Carrie Mae built decades ago.

This Saturday, the community gathers once again to honor the life and impact of Carrie Mae Hambrick, a woman whose kindness helped shape Stockbridge history one meal at a time.
