Where were you when the world stopped on that awful day 25 years ago? I was in my college dorm room watching in horror.
6 years ago we took our kids, 12 and 9 at the time, to the memorial. And while they were not born yet when these events took place, you could still see that they really took in everything and showed great respect to all the victims and heroes from that day.
If you’ve never been to the 9/11 memorial in NYC, I highly recommend going…and bring your kids. It will make you emotional and proud all at the same time.

Wild African Trek in Disney’s Animal Kingdom 10/10!!
🦒This tour was one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve had in Disney Parks. After checking in, you are harnessed up and given your souvenir water canteen before setting off on your trek. Our first stop was the Hippo Habitat where we got to see them get their morning snack. 🦛 It was so beautiful to be so close to these amazing creatures! After that we went over two suspended bridges over the Crocodile River. 🐊 We took a break to enjoy an absolutely delicious lunch in the middle of the Savannah surrounded by giraffes, zebras, elephants and flamingos. 🦩 We ended this wonderful tour with a private drive through the Savannah.
Highly recommend this tour during your next Disney World vacation! Jambo!

Welcome to Disney week! It’s been a minute since I’ve spent a good amount of time in Disney World. That ends tomorrow 🎉
Over the next week I’ll be spending some time at the Food and Wine Festival in Epcot 🍷🍽️, taking a Wild African Trek in Animal Kingdom 🦒, checking out 3 resorts, trying some “new to me” restaurants and so much more!
