We get this question alot, which should I get....passport book or card? You will need a BOOK to fly internationally.
Do yourself a favor and GET THE BOOK!

Do you know the difference between a passport book and a passport card? The U.S. passport book is the only document approved for international AIR travel. The passport card costs less, but can only be used at U.S. land and sea border crossings. Both can be used as a Real ID for domestic travel. You can apply for a passport book and card on the same passport application. Learn more at travel.state.gov/passport
