I’m dreaming of Sedona these days…best time of year to go is coming up (September-November) & then late spring (March-May). It’s a great getaway for couples, a girls trip, guys golf trip, and families. You can be active & outdoors, and then treat yourself to the spa & enjoy the Southwest cuisine. Sounds like just what I need! How about you???

The Maldives archipelago is composed of 1190 islands spread over 26 natural atolls (ringlike coral formations enclosing a lagoon), which results in a unique paradise. Think sea planes, swimming with manta rays, luxury overwater bungalows, incredible snorkeling & diving, and even underwater dining! It’s quite remote, in the Indian Ocean between Seychelles & Sri Lanka, and therefore not super easy to get to, but we think it’s worth the journey.

Last post about my trip to Africa….but as I have reflected and attempted to relay to others how magical it was, it has occurred to me that I was prepared to be amazed by the wildlife & taken with the general African style & the people, but I wasn’t prepared for the sheer beauty of the land, the beautiful people we met along the way, the luxury, hospitality, harmony & serenity of it all. Africa is all of these things in one, and I can’t wait to get back there and see more of it.

Grateful for the chance to explore the Serengeti for a few days & to be in the presence of such natural beauty and majestic animals. What an experience…it was everything I had hoped it would be. And today we trekked into the jungle to see the Pablo gorilla family up close - had 1 hour with them & the experience will stay with me for a lifetime. Incredible! So long, Rwanda…off to Tanzania tomorrow.

Many people think of Iceland for this, but did you know that you can also travel to parts of Norway, Sweden & Finland to see this natural phenomenon? We’re having fun working on a trip to Swedish Lapland for a client…not only will she see the northern lights, but she will go dog-sledding, stay in an ice hotel & ride a snowmobile out to see the lights! What an adventure. Where is your next adventure????
