The Miami Beach Sister Cities Program is looking for two long-distance runners who not only can run a half marathon but can also serve as goodwill ambassadors of the City of Miami Beach at the 2027 Shonan Fujisawa City Marathon in Fujisawa, Japan.

Applications are being accepted now through Friday, August 7 at 11:59 p.m.

Applicants must submit both a preapplication for basic qualification and a full, comprehensive application through GoSmart at mbbiz.gosmart.org.

Back to school backpack 📚✏️📓

🎒 is returning to the Miami Beach Convention Center!

Join Style Saves for its annual Back to School event on August 8 and 9, where South Florida students and families will receive free school uniforms, backpacks, sneakers, school supplies and other essentials to help them start the school year with confidence. The event will also feature interactive activities, a food hall and a marketplace with support from community partners.
