🚨🚨 fishing report 6/15/26 🚨🚨

Weather was absolutely trash... Dube,coral and I got or butts whooped. Waves were anywhere from 1.5-3ft stacked on top of eachother making for a terrible ride out and a not so fun time trying to read bottom.

Today was another one of those days where I shouldn't have asked my clients if they were good and if they could handle it because my back, legs, neck and head hurt after this one... we had an awesome group of guys from the east coast come over and they were used to the waves so we sent it and a quarter way out I turned to them as we were doing 17mph and said "we're almost to the point of no return, we can either go back now and I'll refund the trip with no hard feelings or we're sending it" and they wanted to send it, so we did. We did not crush it by any means but we caught sooooo many short red groupers, a few keepers, some mangs and some lanes. Regardless of the weather we made lemonade out of lemons when a lot of other boats canceled and we got more than enough for dinner! Overall it was a good day for the Anglers and a day I could probably use a chiropractor...

🚨🚨 fishing report 6/14/26 🚨🚨

Weather was really nice but the ride sucked on the way out for the island hopper. It was a 1 foot stacked chop out of the west iykyk. But once we were anchored up and heading home it was perfect.

Today we had a really cool group from up north! Brandon brought the kiddos out to have fun , we did exactly that. We started off bottom fishing and we got a good variety of literally everything we normally catch on our short trips(6hr) we caught red/gag groupers, lots of short hogs, mangrove snapper, grunts, porgies and a few other species and then once we had more than enough for dinner we went to the wreck and the bite was super slow until doob hooked a cuda on the plug and then it fired off! We ended up with a cuda, a couple mackerel and a few sharks! Overall it was another great day for the Anglers!

Weather was absolutely perfect in my eyes! We had a little bit of chop and enough wind to keep it a little cooler. Don't get me wrong, it was hot af but I couldn't have asked for better weather!

Wow... I was nervous going on this 12 hour today after struggling so bad yesterday but we absolutely smoked em! Today we had a group of locals and I knew I needed to get it done today after yesterday so I had cousin doob fish instead of work. The day started off really slow so I kinda got flustered and was ready to make a 30 mile run but decided to push out a few extra miles and we got our 5 man limit of grouper pretty dang quick!! Then we hit one of my favorite wrecks and the current was ripping so hard that it was an absolute dud other than a couple almacos and a really solid gag... so I just started wandering around until I found something I felt like I had to stop on and ended up with a jumbo ars! We also got another decent one but the big one made it look like a baby. We also caught a few other snappers throughout the day. Overall it was another Epic day for the Anglers and a refreshing one for me

Holy Sh:! Today was hot... but it was slick calm which is nice for most but I don't like it too much.

Today we had a group of Steven(Aaron's little brothers) buddies and I absolutely sucked.... I ended up way too far offshore and seemed like I couldn't even pay good money for a fired up bite. Unfortunately I was parking on fish but they just didn't want to eat. By 2 pm I literally only had 1 mangrove snapper and 1 lane and I contemplated running myself over with the boat. But I came in way shallower and within the last hour or so we managed a decent red snapper and 3 groupers 1 of which I caught out my window. Even though the fishing was terrible we had a fun day out there! Overall it was another great day for the Anglers! And I am tired as can be. We will have fishing reports coming out just about every single day this month and have very few openings left.

Weather was beautiful! Calm seas and it was hot as can be...

Today we had a 6hr in the am followed by a 4hr in the pm
Am group was from the Carolina's and Johnny decided he wanted to bring his grandson offshore for the first time out here and it did not disappoint!! We went out and tore up the fish. We started off getting bait, then went bottom fishing. We were able to fill a bucket of grunts, a porgy and a nice hogfish and then I decided I wanted to hit the wreck and live bait and we got an absolute tank cuda!! These boys were a fun group!

This afternoon we had Mrs Deb, her husband, her grand daughter and her boyfriend and they also had never done this kind of trip here. Mrs Deb was a very interesting woman and I had a lot of fun with this group. Doob ran this trip and we went out, caught fish and shot guns and had a great time doing it! We got enough grunts and a porgy for dinner and then headed to the house after a long day on the water! Overall it was another great day for the Anglers!

Today I had one of my best friends from my home town and his girlfriend! I haven't been in the best place lately but spending time with my people always bring my spirits up! We ran out between 30-50 miles today and had such a great day. I had doob fish instead of work today so we could keep a few extra fish and we tore it up! We ended up with our limit of red grouper, a scamp, 4 red snappers, almacos, lanes and mangs! I can't say enough good things about today, good company, good fishing and good weather. Overall it was another great day for the Anglers!

Weather was so nice all day! Waves were around a foot or so and it was breezy so it wasn't too hot.

Today was a seriously long day.. two 6 hour trips with only 30 mins in between trips.
This morning was an awesome group from Michigan and we had fun! I ran this trip and we started off bottom fishing and as we were loading up with lunch in the distance I seen a ton of frigate birds going crazy, it was driving me nuts watching them so after I got a bucket of eaters we sent it over to them and boy did we have an epic hour of chasing a bait ball with sharks, mackerels and Bonitas! Everytime a bait touched the water it instantly got smoked. We ended up with grunts, porgies, Bonitas, mackerel, cudas and a few other randoms and then headed in to prepare for the next trip!

My afternoon trip was equally as great. Seth, his wife and 2 kiddos hopped on and only requested to catch fish and have fun which is my absolute favorite. Doob ran this one and we had a great time. We bottom fished for a bit and then I convinced Doob to hit the ol home base where we messed around with cudas, sharks and jacks and it was an insane bite! This whole group had a great time!
Overall it was another awesome day for the Anglers and a tiring one for Doob and I but we made it happen!

🚨🚨 fishing report 6/8/26 🚨🚨

Weather was really nice compared to the last couple trips! Waves were a little over a foot and we had a little breeze still, making for a comfortable day.

Today we had a really cool group with an awesome son that was ate up with the fishing which is one of my favorite parts about this path I chose because we started out as a kid who loved fishing! He was so excited for this trip and I think we crushed his expectations in a really good way! Today was also kind of a weird day... for some reason it almost felt like the beginning of the end for me and like I was going back to the beginning but with doob instead of Tyler. Today when I pulled out of the slip I looked at doob and told him "you got this one" and then moved out of the seat and had him be the captain, which is going to be something that happens a lot more to prepare him for what's to come. He absolutely crushed it on this 4 hour! He found an area he wanted to go and then found his own spots, I obviously helped him with the crew but this one was all him and I'm super proud. In the two stops he made we caught a ton of red groupers, a bucket full of grunts and porgies and a bunch of puffers making for a fun day for this crew who had never been on a charter. Overall it was another great day for the Anglers and a humbling day for me!

🚨🚨 fishing report 6/7/26 🚨🚨

Weather sucked again on the way out and the last few miles on the way in but was absolutely beautiful offshore towards the end of the trip! Waves were anywhere from 1.5-5ft and it was blowing pretty good for most of the day.

Today we had Billy, his triplets which I've never had 3 identical twins on the boat,his brother-in-law and his nephew and i absolutely loved this group, enough that I will probably go out and hunt with them later in the year to fulfill one of my bucket list items! Billy and I had been talking for a while and he wanted to catch fish that would "wear the boys out" so I took them to one of my favorite spots that I haven't been to in a long time and we caught probably 20 amberjacks over a couple hour period! After that we decided to push out and get some meat and ended up with an insane variety of fish... we caught red grouper, a keeper scamp grouper, grasby grouper, red snapper, mangrove snapper, yellowtail snapper, lane snapper, vermilion snapper, a nice Almaco jack and soon got a mahi on the jig! Overall It was an awesome day for the Anglers and I cannot say enough good things about these kids and this family, I had a great trip other than the weather!

Weather absolutely sucked bad until the end of the day... waves were a solid 2-3 foot with the occasional 5-6 foot roller.

Today I had a really awesome group but tbh I don't do this often and I'm not too proud to admit I probably made the wrong call... there was probably a lot of boats that did not send it like I did today but 🤷‍♂️. We fished this 10 hr inside of 40 miles but took an absolute whooping. BUT we smoked the fish! We ended up with our limit of pretty solid red grouper, a bunch of grunts, lanes, vermillions, a mangrove and a really nice triple tail! My back, legs and neck hurt but we made lemonade out of lemons and I couldn't be happier about how this trip went with how the weather was! Overall it was another great day for the Anglers!
