🚨🚨 fishing report 8/29/26 🚨🚨

Weather was absolutely beautiful, until it wasn't... I was a little worried with this one when I looked at the radar this morning but it all worked out better than expected. We managed to stay away from the storms till the last half hour of the ride in.

Today I had some repeat clients that are alot of fun! We had a longer trip so we made a decent run today and it didn't really pay off the way I wanted it to but we still ended up putting a nice box of fish together and ended up with a decent amount of meat! I spent way to much time searching around for red snapper in an area where I had gotten them in the past, we ended up with a few and a couple shorts, a bunch of lanes, some mangroves, a big porgy, a few gags and a giant lemon shark and fished a little shallower and got a few red grouper. Overall it was another great day for the Anglers! And I just wanted to take a moment to thank the veterans we had on the boat today for their services!

Weather was absolutely beautiful today! It was definitely hot as can be but waves were around a foot or less so I couldn't complain.

Today we had a group of local boys, Dylan brought his dad, father in-law and brother in-law out for "the best charter they've ever been on". Today was a fun one to say the least Dylan's father in-law(second picture) was an absolute hoot... I've never had someone talk so much $hi7 on a charter and tbh he never rann out of things to talk $hi7 about lol he kept us laughing and entertained all day while the boys were smoking the fish! We threw back alot more grouper than we ended up keeping, ended up with a few nice shallower water red snappers, a few lanes and mangos and a almaco jack! We got to come home early after trying to find a few more ars which didn't end up happening and we turned those things into a bunch of meals! Overall it was another great day for the Anglers

🚨🚨 fishing report 8/16/26 🚨🚨

Today was GLASSY! Weather was absolutely beautiful, waves were almost non existent and but there was barely any breeze so it was toasty!

Today we had Robbie and his son out for a half day trip and these guys had a blast and were really fun to have on the boat. Any time we get a kid on the boat that I can tell is genuinely passionate about fishing it makes my day because just about everyone in the profession started off that same way and I know when they come fishing with us it's just going to add more fuel to that passion. We started the trip off with a bunch of mangroves eating our chum at the back of the boat that no matter what we did we couldn't seem to catch lol but that's how it goes sometimes so we caught enough grunts for dinner, along with some red and gag groupers and then went and did some trolling for a little harder fight! We lost quite a few fish but ended up with 3 big bonitas that gave the little dude a run for his money, one of which got smoked on the way in! Overall it was another great day for the Anglers!

🚨🚨 fishing report 8/15/26 🚨🚨

Weather was perfect today! Could not have asked for better conditions, waves were around a foot and we had a decent breeze so it wasn't super hot out there.

Today we had a group of locals, two fathers brought their sons out for their first charter and we smoked the fish! Dock to dock we only needed 6.5 hrs and we could've done it in less time if I wasn't exploring. It couldn't have gone any better. As doob was giving them the run down on how we use the rods he hooked a truck and the action never really stopped after that. We had a few dud spots but got all of our keepers off two spots. We ended up with our limit of nice red grouper, a bunch of decent lanes, a nice mangrove, and we let a couple small red snappers go. Overall it was another epic day for the Anglers!

🚨🚨 fishing report 8/13/26 🚨🚨

Weather was absolutely trash compared to the forecast this morning but laid down nicely by the end of the day! Waves were a stacked foot and a half, maybe a bit bigger at times but that wasnt stopping us from getting out today!

Before typing todays fishing report... we passed the Jawstoo Fishing Charters boat while riding out to where we planned on fishing and yesterday we all received the news that we lost a great captain and an even better guy that was a huge part of our community, our thoughts and prayers are with his son who is also a captain and was running the boat in his dad's honor today and also the rest of his family/friends.

Today we had a group of locals and they showed up with 7 people and unfortunately for the guy we had to leave back at the dock due to licensing and laws we absolutely smoked the fish! We fished inside 40 miles and had our limit of red grouper and were back to the dock within 7 hours which is always a good feeling. I told doob this morning that I was going to get em today after not doing so hot on my last long trip and we came back for vengeance on this one! Capt tj hooked me up with an area and told me I should be able to find something and we did exactly that, every spot today was a new one that we drove around to find except one that we caught a few short ars on! We ended up releasing way more red grouper than we kept, also got a stud mango and a couple smaller ones, a bunch of lanes and that's was about it. Overall it was another epic day for the Anglers!

Weather was absolutely beautiful as you can tell from the pictures! Waves were less than a foot but it was really hot today!

Today we had vas and his son theo that were down from Colorado before theo goes back to school next week and we definitely made the best out of this trip! We hooked and broke of 3 huge goliaths that for some reason I could not get off the bottom with the bent butt, we lost a little shark that spit the hooks butttt we ended up with a nice cuda, all the gags you could want, 8 mangrove snapper and a bunch of grunts making for a really fun trip for these guys as it's not something they've done before! This father son combo were awesome and I can't say enough good things about them. Overall it was another great day for the Anglers!
