Lisbon Must-See: Palácio de Pena in Sintra 🏰

It’s got bright colors, a really unique combo of architectural styles and gorgeous views!

We organized a private transfer and tour guide for our small group to make it seamless and also get an insider perspective on the history and meaning of this gorgeous palace.

If you have a chance, make sure to visit Sintra and Pena Palace. 🏰

Welcome to Portugal! 🇵🇹 Our first day in Lisbon we did a private tour of Jerónimos Monastery — which was incredibly detailed and impressively beautiful! The church next door houses the tomb of the explorer Vasco Da Gama.

Afterwards we made a necessary stop for pastel de Belem (which is the original version of pastel de nata) before the first afternoon of Dental CE. 🦷

I might be falling in love with Lisbon!

Italy stole my heart in the first 2 weeks in Tuscany. I went to Florence to study Italian for 9 months in 2009, and I didn’t even imagine how it would change my life.

The Italians stubborn passion about their food and wine, the animated way they talk and gesture, the rolling hills with the classic tall skinny Cypress trees, and the beautiful architecture and art were magical and just enchanted me.

Throwback to our Southern Tuscany Dental CE trip in October 2019!

This is the view from Bagnoni Vignoni - a small quaint hilltop town that has thermal waters in Southern Tuscany.

We took a little walk up the hill from our hotel to walk around, have some gelato, and enjoyed the views!

Good morning from Roma. 🇮🇹

After just having been in France, I have to say that I really appreciate 1) the taste and quality of the coffee in Italy and 2) the price!

In Italy, the government controls how much can be charged for coffee. I paid just 2 euro 60 cents for both cappuccinos! ☕️

Sunset from the garden of this historical and lovely boutique hotel in Siena. Have you been to Siena? It's one of the most picturesque towns in Tuscany. It's famous for the Palio (where the horses race around the main piazza), but I recommend:
1)Exploring the small streets
2)Eating pici (local pasta that is like a chubby spaghetti)
3)Sitting in the main piazza (Piazza del Campo)- one of Europe's greatest medieval squares
4)Climbing the Torre del Mangia in the main piazza

P.s. This is one of my favorite gems in Siena called Hotel Palazzo Ravizza
