I don’t make the rules, but I’ve seen enough clients come back from a week somewhere warm looking like entirely different people to know there’s something to it.

Not just tan. Actually rested.

The kind of trip where you sleep more, eat better, slow down a little, and remember what it feels like to not be running on empty. I’ve had clients come home feeling recharged, clearer mentally, more motivated, and honestly just happier.

Maybe it’s the sunshine. Maybe it’s finally unplugging for a few days. Maybe it’s having something to look forward to.

And one piece of honest advice... if your group chat starts going rogue with everyone trying to book separately, be the smart one and work with a travel advisor. Group travel gets complicated fast between deposits, roommate changes, flights, transfers, payment deadlines, and making sure everyone is actually booked correctly. Having someone manage all of the moving pieces makes the experience so much smoother for everyone involved.

I will die on these hills until someone proves me wrong and nobody has yet.

🏨 The room upgrade is always worth it. Not the incremental one, the one that gets you the ocean view suite with actual space to exist in. That suite becomes the whole trip. You will not want to leave it and you will not be sorry you paid for it.

🍽️ The all inclusive with genuinely good restaurants is a completely different vacation than the one where you're eating at the same buffet every night and calling it fine.

🔞 Adults only versus families is not just a vibe preference. It is a completely different resort experience and picking the wrong one will haunt you for the entire trip.

Reading reviews online can be so overwhelming.

One person says it was the best hotel ever and the next says it ruined their vacation. Before long, you’re second guessing every choice and going down a rabbit hole of reviews, TikToks, Reddit threads, and blogs.

Sitting in the Delta Sky Club thinking about the incredible week at the Elevate Conference, hosted at The Garland in Studio City🤩

The days were packed with open discussions, supplier presentations, and conversations around AI, hiring, marketing, taxes, finances, terms & conditions, team building, and so much more. It’s always refreshing to step outside of your own bubble and hear from advisors with completely different backgrounds, business models, and visions for the future of travel.

Some of the conversations challenged the way I think, some validated things I’ve already been building, and others sparked brand new ideas I can’t wait to implement over the next few months.

One of the best parts of this industry is that there is never just one way to do things, and being surrounded by people who are passionate and willing to share openly is incredibly motivating.
