We’re proud to celebrate a Bronze Telly Awards for the LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation’s New Americans in Long-Term Care recruitment and retention video series.

Created in partnership with Captivate Media + Consulting, this series shares the stories and contributions of New Americans working in aging services while helping challenge misconceptions about long-term care.

With more than 1.3 million views, these stories are making an impact far beyond what we imagined.

Special thanks to Captivate, our staff, and various member sites for their excellent work in bringing this meaningful project to life!

Yesterday, we were grateful to join the celebration of Tim Hokanson's career. After a remarkable 40 years of leadership at Mount Olivet Careview Home, Tim plans to retire on June 1.

Tim’s steady leadership, deep compassion, and commitment to faith-based care have left an indelible mark on older adults, families, employees, and the broader aging services community. It was especially meaningful to honor him in the Lund Chapel — a space he helped envision and bring to life.

Thank you, Tim, for four decades of service, integrity, and dedication. Please join us in congratulating Tim on his retirement and wishing him all the best in this next chapter. 💚

Jessica Lacher, Director of Membership & Strategic Partnerships, visited Heartwood (Presbyterian Homes & Services) in Crosby as well as Northern Lakes Senior Living (Ebenezer) in Baxter.
