New Bitterroot PB for John! Now a solid two footer, it's not the first time this brown has found itself in the net of a BRO guide. Over the last 4-5 years, this stud has been caught and measured at 21" and 23" inches, each time in the same spot (we're leaving that out so this fella can catch a bit of a break.) Proof that when done right, catch and release can benefit both the trout and the angler. We hope to report back when this guy is even bigger!

Somewhere just down the river from camp on river left, we'll take a little detour. A short hike and a bit of a scramble leads us to a cave covered in pictographs - just one of the exciting side missions we love doing on the Smith.

We currently have availability for next year's Smith River trips - give us a shout if you'd like to join us in May!
