Had a surprise catch on our 3/4 day trip! It is very rare we get a chance to catch a billfish this close in but there aren’t any fences in the ocean

Wahoo Wednesday! Came out of the bridge to snap a photo for my crowd and catch another one while trying to get the picture. Very good fishing this summer.

We have plenty of open dates over the next 3 months if you want to get your group offshore or get the kids out before they go back to school we would certainly love to have you!

Captain Ashley Forrest and his wife Tonya moved to Morehead City in 2019 to begin the exciting chapter of Breakwater Charters. Captain Ashley has always had a love for the water since he was little and wanted to be able to share that love with people that are from out of town, or locals that just want to fish.
