Im so excited for this mom/daughter trip in November! They’ll be staying at Disneys Boardwalk which is a fantastic hotel ! The best part about staying at Boardwalk during this time frame? You can walk to EPCOT for Food and Wine festival!

Today is the official release of Toy Story 5! My husband and I took the kids to see it last night and it was super cute with a good story line about how kids don’t play with toys when they have technology 🫣 it was a wonderful reminder of their fleeting years as littles. They immediately came home, grabbed all their Toy Story toys (including a picture of Mr PotatoHead because we lost him) and played for a few hours. This movie also immediately made me want to book another Disney trip because it’s a fresh reminder about how much fun we have there as a family-less technology and just time together!

Was the Sandals Butler Elite room category necessary? Absolutely not. Was it amazing for our time away? Absolutely yes. For a mom with 3 kids at home can I just say how refreshing it is for someone to take care of everything for you while you’re on vacation? We were given a cellphone and told to call with anything we needed. We told them which restaurants we wanted and they made reservations, we asked for burgers on the beach and they asked how we wanted them cooked, we didn’t have time for an empty glass because they continually came over and asked if we needed anything. The most fun part was getting to the room after a long relaxing day and having a surprise snack waiting-nachos one day and charcuterie the next. The absolutely best perk-they saved our beach chairs daily and gave us a stocked cooler so instead of waking up early and eating breakfast quickly to save a spot, we just found our cooler number!

Just booked an amazing Spring 2027 family vacation to Disney AND Universal! ✨

Sea sickness can be a trip-ruiner when you’re on a cruise. Even if you think you’re not prone to it, take extra precautions and pack some motion sickness meds. If you don’t need them, no problem. But if you do need them, you’ll be thanking your lucky stars you brought them!
