Great day on the water with Dann Walker and Randy Gordon. We boated 2 nice muskies had one other lazy follow and we lost a good one on a sucker. The best part was it was Dann’s first musky and it was a good one too!

Another great day on the water with Mike Belanger and his two buddies. We had beautiful weather and the guys caught well over 100 walleyes and a bunch of really nice crappies. They kept enough for a nice fish fry and everything else was released.

It was another walleye beat down today with the guys from Virginia. We put well over 100 fish in the boat in 4 hours. The action was constant and consistent with multiple doubles and triples the entire time. We kept enough fish for a nice fish fry, and all the rest were released. Thanks guys!

I had Rob and his son Matt out this morning for a half-day trip and they absolutely slaughtered the fish boating well over 100 walleyes a couple of smallmouth bass and some white bass. It was a great morning on the water.

Yesterday was a good day for the boys from Virginia with over 100 walleyes in 4 hours!

Second trip of the day for me started at 3:00 PM with Ryan Elley and Rian Tilgner from Kansas City. We hit the water targeting walleyes and the fish didn’t disappoint. By 6:00 PM the guys had over 100 walleyes in the boat with multiple doubles and a handful of white bass. But that’s when the real excitement was about to start. About 6:15 Ryan was bringing in a walleye when a big musky came up and just hammered it right at the boat. It came surging out of the water with the walleye in his mouth and then took off. Holy smokes BIG FISH ON!!!! Well after several long runs and us chasing the big fish over 100 yards down river along with us easing back-and-forth on the line and some cautious reeling. We were lucky enough to be able to slide the net under a mid 40 inch musky with 8 pound test that never had a hook in it. When we got him in the net he coughed up the walleye with the hook still in it. He had never been hooked and he just held on to walleye that now looked like sliced hamburger. Great job Ryan!
