No more digging around for cash on Alligator Alley 💸🐊

Beginning today, August 3, the full 78-mile stretch of I-75 between Collier and Broward counties is officially moving to all-electronic tolling.

Drivers can still pay with SunPass, another Florida-accepted transponder or the existing TOLL-BY-PLATE system. The only thing disappearing is the option to hand cash to an attendant.

FDOT says the change is intended to improve traffic flow by eliminating cash transactions at the toll plazas.

Alligator Alley has two main toll plazas, with passenger vehicles paying $3.18 at each plaza depending on where they enter or exit.
